About Sierra Cartwright
Sierra Cartwright was born in Manchester, England and raised in Colorado. Moving to the United States was nothing like her young imagination had concocted. She expected to see cowboys everywhere, and a covered wagon or two would have been really nice!
Now she writes novels as untamed as the Rockies, while spending a fair amount of time in Texas where, it turns out, the Texas Rangers law officers don't ride horses to roundup the bad guys, or have six-shooters strapped to their sexy thighs as she expected. And she's yet to see a poster that says Wanted: Dead or Alive. (Can you tell she has a vivid imagination?)
Sierra wrote her first book at age nine, a fanfic episode of Star Trek when she was fifteen, and she completed her first romance novel at nineteen. She actually kissed William Shatner (Captain Kirk) on the cheek once, and she says that's her biggest claim to fame. Her adventure through the turmoil of trust has taught her that love is the greatest gift. Like her image of the Old West, her writing is untamed, and nothing is off-limits.

Book 4. Not my favourite to be honest but enjoy the strong independent business women. David takes over a family business and Maggie ends up signing a contract to still work at the business but she shows her disdain for him regularly. Maggie goes to The Den to relax only to find her new boss is a Dom and becomes interested in Maggie's Sub lifestyle. Absolutely love Sierra Cartwright so a bit gutted didn’t love it as much as her other but looking forward to more
Ok. So Maggie disliked David simply because he took over her family firm that her mother had mismanaged. She could see that the firm was doing better with him at the helm but until later on in the book she encouraged staff to be disrespectful about him. Once they got together, it was clear she needed his brand of dominance. However, she often didn't address him respectfully and he did not call her on it as you would expect a dominant to do. I think she was far more at fault in the dramatic break-up than he was so his subsequent grovelling made him appear weak. She didn't acknowledge or atone for her mistakes sufficiently.
