London Slums and Murders. There are several characters in this story with individual adventures that intertwine. An excellent representative of the times. I absolutely loved this story and am looking forward to reading more of it!

Too many story lines unfinished!. I enjoyed the book, but it never answered the Anna/Garrett storyline. Where did she come from? How did she get to the slums and why? Am I missing a previous novel?

The Lions Courtship. Loved this book, it’s main characters, the description of the awful times. I am so thankful I didn’t live then. Read in one sitting.

The Lion’s Courtship. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a well-crafted story for free. Solid characters, believable dialogue, concentrated plots and the authorship, all make for a lovely voice in my head. BUT what was with that rushed ending? Was there a sudden word limit? The story was moving along quite satisfactorily and then BAM. Brick wall. No nice tie up of the characters and plot; no enticement to want to read more of the author’s work. Just a very bad ending.
