AFTER. This book was everythig and more of what I expected and wanted out of the book. I have read many books in my time but this one is the best. I can’t wait to read the rest I am in awe of just this first one I can’t wait for the next… I wish the movie showed everything in this book as my imagination can go so far with just reading. I still am in love with the characters and am looking forward to reading these novels over and over.

LOVEEE ITTT. I loved this book and I read it in a whole day. That’s saying a lot because I don’t even like to read lol! The story line has me wanting more and more! Edited: (I finished the series a year ago but I wanted to add on) This series was my all time favorite for the longest time! I read and read them like crazy! They are so addictive, you seriously can’t get enough! These books made me cry, laugh and cringe. I will forever love Hardin and Tessa.

Love the series. I originally found the movie before the book and I rewatched the movie over and over again… to say I am fan of the after series is a understatement. Plus I am totally in love with Harden in the movies and in the books… while the movie was good the book is better.

Great Read. The Movie brought me to this book! I’m just going to put it like this. I read the first book in three days. Then I went to barns and nobles and brought the rest of the books. This book is a really good read. The writing is so good I couldn’t put it down. I was so into this book I didn’t talk to anyone for three days. I can’t wait to finish the second one. I do love how the book is so detailed about everything. I kept the book in my purse in case I had a moment to read it I couldn’t put it down. Looking forward to see how how Tessa and Hardin move forward with there lives in the second book.

Finished it to fast :(. After the second movie came out on Netflix I decided to give them ago. I couldn’t help but want to read the books after that, and now I’m left sad because I can’t find anything as interesting as this to read! It took me 5 days to read the first 4 books, and I’ll read the 5th book as soon as it arrives! I couldn’t sit down, I couldn’t sleep. The only bad things I have to say are - I wish there were more books in the series, and the end is a little rushed :( regardless I fell in love with these books and all of my friends that I have (nicely) pressed to read the series have too! Well written, and you fall in love with the love story. Very well done and will be one of my all time favorites!

Awful. It is absolutely MIND BOGGLING to me that this book has 4.6 stars. The main characters are hard to like. Tessa is so boring and predictable. She lets Hardin walk all over her consistently. Hardin is such a jerk that he’s hard to like. They have the same fight over and over and over. Don’t waste your time. I had a hard time finishing it.

An okay read. I enjoyed the book the very first time initially. I first read the book on Wattpad. I have to say I enjoyed the book much more on Wattpad. It got straight to the point and it didn’t drag on as much as the published one did. I read this book a numerous of times but coming back this time I noticed that when it’s not Tessa and Harden bickering, it’s just them having sex. It wasn’t as entertaining as it was when I read it the very first time. The sex scenes are too excessive and it just gets boring at a certain point but overall nice book. I hope the 2nd book is better

RECOMMEND!!!!. I truly enjoyed this book! I watched the movies then decided i had to read the books and I was pleasantly surprised! The tension between Hardin and Tessa is baffling!

THE BEST.... This is by far one of the best books I have ever read the heartbreak, the emotion, the love and despair is all there. And I always find myself lost in the pages. This is definitely a must read and I encourage everybody to read it!!!!

Mediocre. Struggled to finish this book. It felt so elementary. The entire story could have been cut down to have the size of the book. I also thought the plot twist at the end was far too redundant.

Amazing!. Read all five books in a matter of weeks. Many had an opinion about the main characters being in a toxic relationship that was unhealthy. I felt it truly depicted what childhood traumas do to an individual and how hurt people, hurt people. It shows the strength it takes to overcome the damages endured at the hands of others and how cycles can be broken as long as we are willing to change the narrative of our own story for a better and healthy ending. Love that we get to see the characters in the future and where they are in “present” time. Definitely recommend this series! Well done Anna Todd!

2 stars for audio version. Fantastic book...but very disappointed in audio version. Maybe it’s because I’m new to audiobooks, but is it too much to ask for the main male character to actually sound like a man and have an English accent?! In my opinion this kills the effect the enjoyment of listening to the book.

It’s hard to put into words how I feel about this book.. I don’t even have words to explain how much I love this book and the series. I started off by watching the movie and that’s how I found the book. I have read this series over and over again!! It’s like a comfort book. I could read this for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. Anna Todd is a very talented writer and she really knows how to catch your attention!!

Totally Addicted. The movie got me hooked, but the book was so much better. I love this story! I don’t know what is so addicting about this story, but I just can’t quit it! Love Hardin + Tessa’s story.

Lots of sex.. I’m hoping the next book has less of it, but I understand it as a part of the story line and it isn’t always useless. Best book ever !!. This book was truely great, apart from the multiple inappropriate scenes, I absolutely loved it, it got me sitting at the end of the couch with my heart nearly falling out of my chest💗 and I’m sure after you read the whole series or just this book you’ll fall in love with hessa #hessa I 100% recommended this book with all my heart💗💗💗💗

Hard to read.. Honestly. I am finding it so hard to read this book. Hardins character is emotionally abusive and ‘romanticising’ this behaviour is absolutely abhorrent. He slowly tears away at Tessa to the point that she creates some unhealthy obsession towards her abuser. Just ask yourself if this is the type of relationship you would want to be in, or that you would want your daughter to be in. I know this is just a book, but I worry about what impression this leaves on young women and what their idea of love is, because this is absolutely NOT it.

Love this book. Watched the movie before discovering the book but the book has soo much more, more passion, more intensity. Love it!!

Just horrible. Apart from being repetitive, I’d hate for my teenage daughter to read this. There are so many abusive red flags in this relationship - violence, isolation, lies, controlling behaviour- yet she keeps going back to him because he makes her weak at the knees. Deep, deep sigh.

This book changed me. I couldn’t put this book down. I read the entire series in less then a week. Hardins comped character, tessa’s need to be treated so poorly but come back. It fascinated me. While I don’t ever condone in any women being treated that way, I was drawn to the relationship and the sheer chemistry. I find myself devastated the book series is over. There is a hole now and I feel a bit empty. Thank you Anna for writing these series, and now maybe I can get back to my miracle little family ☺️❤️❤️. My husband will thank you for only writing 4 books 😂😂.

Never in my life have I loved a series so much and that's saying something I love to read I can spend hours upon hours and just get lost in the world I'm reading, but never before like this it was I think the best I've ever read heartbreaking, inspiring and just amazing to see Hardin grow into a man instead of the boy he started out as. I cried I laughed I held my breath and can't believe that's it's over. I can't wait to read more from this amazing author. Thank you for giving us a chance to read your beautifully written words

Started from fan fiction now it's here 😝. I read this story on a one direction fan fiction website a few years ago and fell in love with it... It's so exciting that this amazing story came from something like that... Love love love it... It's brilliant when you read it a few more times because you notice little things that brings it to the conclusion of what happens in the end and your like ohmygod how did I not see it...

Pfft. Stupid book, stupid characters. Hardin is a jerk and Tessa is weak. Don't bother.

Skin shedding and beautiful. Sadly I couldn’t buy it so I read the 55 paged sample in one go in one day and when It finished I literally shed my skin I really wanted to keep reading this. This book is beyond all the positive words in the world I really recommend it although it’s inappropriate and has swearing I’m only 11 and I really like it but as I said before I couldn’t buy it and it’s inappropriate.. Best Book I Have Ever Read. The first time I read After was 3 or 4 years ago. The second I opened that book, I couldnt stop reading it. It took me 3 days to finish it and 2-3 weeks to finish the whole After Series. It’s the best young adult romance you can read. It’s filled with plenty of realistic drama, its a modern relationship anyone can relate to and its so well written. Anna Todd is definitely one of the best authors of our generations and she is one of my absolute favourites. I would recommend After to anyone who loves a hot and steamy romance. SO SO GOOD 💕

Amazing!. I couldn’t keep my hands off the book and was so engulfed in the whole series. Everything after reading the books was non-stop thinking about the books and relating every single song I heard to Hardin and Tessa. Awesome. Rate it 5 stars. This entire series makes you feel so much different emotions, in a good way. The story consumes you start to finish, I personally couldn’t think about anything except Hardin and Tessa. I couldn't stop reading and I have dyslexia so yeah it was really really good. Totally recommend it.

Simply Phenomenal!. This is one of my favourite books of all time! Anna Todd does such a good job of making you feel happy, heartbroken, furious and captivated all at the same time. Tessa and Hardin’s love story is definitely one of a kind and one that I would highly recommend reading.

Bought the book and only got 46 pages. When I bought and downloaded this book to read, it only had 46 pages. After that it is telling me to buy and download the next book. When I look online the book is supposed to be 592 pages. Not sure what happened here.
