Sizzling HOT!. 4.5 Stars This is book 2 in the Once a Marine series and it features Logan and Becky. I really liked how this author didn’t sugar coat Logan’s PTSD issues. They were what they were and he was slowly dealing with them. What is better than seeing how fiercely a woman protects her baby girl! Becky is vulnerable but tough at the same time. The steam factor was off-the-charts HOT! Logan and Becky were a sizzling match made in heaven, that just needed a little bit of work to get there. It was all the outside forces they had to fight just to survive. I love this story and all its characters so much, that I wish I could have stayed in their world just a little while longer.

Good story. First..not a fan of the style of the writing. Second I was left with wanting more. I wanted to know that camp was developed, that there were more children. Anything! I just wanted more. I had a hard time seeing Logan on any kind of level. I just couldn't connect with him. He was a man on paper. He wasn't someone that you could really love or root for in the story. He was just there.

Great read again. Never disappointed in Jen's writing. Strong characters with flaws and sexual tension you can feel through the page.

Warm, fuzzy, romantic AND made me cry. I enjoyed this story. An easy to read romance novel, with the added pleasure of insecurities, family disfunction, a cute dog, a little bit sexy, tearjerker moments and love.
