The first. The story is short, but introduces us to Batman. My critique is more on the reading experience. It’s doable, but would be great if double tapping a scene would screen fit it as you read along on an iPhone or smaller iPad.

Detective Comics #27. A perfect starting point for the Batman and DC. Combines literary elements, action, and a criminal plot fit only for a detective like Batman. Two thumbs up!

Detective Comics #27. Though not the most thrilling of stories by today's standards this 1939 comic book is probably the most important comic in comic book history...possibly Action Comics #1 (Superman's first appearance a year earlier) can also make this claim...but one thing is true that nothing was the same afterwards!!!

The First comic Ive ever read of batman. I downloaded this book on iBook, of course and I like it! It's really cool and it's the first comic of batman I've read. I'll rate 5/5 because the story makes sense and it's the new EPIC start for batman <- when he was made in like the 1930s it was a EPIC start

A Very Wimpy Kid. This book is about standing up to those that are either rude or physically abusive and demanding. The troubles that this wimpy kid faces are physical abuse by both his brother and the street bully. I would definitely recommend this book to all of my friends, if your getting bullied let an adult know and if it gets out of hand report it!

Too short. Way too short for my taste, (as I read this in ten minutes,) but if they/you smack some more comics in there too, (maybe 10,) then VOILÀ! 5 stars.

Na na na na na na na na Batman!. Ah yes, Detective Comics. This one, in particular. Thank you for blessing us with Batman & Robin, Bob Kane, Bill Finger & Jerry Robinson. Super great.

Golden age gold. A great little golden age tale that first introduced Batman to the world. A must read for all Bat-fans.

64 Pages of Action?. The “64 Pages of Action!” promised on the cover of Detective #27 are horribly underrepresented here. Only the six page story featuring the “Bat-Man” is included. I will save you the three minutes it would take to read this little slice of 1939 and spoil the ending: Bruce Wayne is The “Bat-Man”.

A Classic Treasure!. I was so stoked to find this Goldie Oldie in iBooks 😀 Absolutely Awesome!
