Did I read the wrong book?. Honestly, I never leave reviews, but after seeing all these great ratings, I just have to chime in. I feel like I read a completely different book. The story line was just okay -- nothing outstanding, really. The editing, though? Gah. For the love of all that is good and pure in this world, hire an editor. Have your book read by a professional who has a basic sense of grammar and punctuation. The ellipses were KILLING ME. Incorrectly using "that" instead of "who"? That's basic stuff, man. And if I read "bone-melting" one more time, I would have thrown my iPad out the window, gone outside, come back inside, and threw it out the window again. Maybe I'm picky, because I expect the books I take the time to buy and read to, at least, meet high school grammar and punctuation standards. Yikes!

WOW! I'm starting to LOVE hockey!. Wow! Who could have thought that Sawyer Bennett could take a sexy, womanizing hockey player and turn him into a man every woman dreams of? Enter Garrett Samuelson. This man likes to live each day to the fullest, whether it is playing hockey or spending time with a different woman every night....and then BAM.....enter Olivia Case. Yes, she is gorgeous and everything he wants for one night but the best part is she is not interested! Of course this makes Garrett try even harder. What Garrett doesn't know is that Olivia is dealing with a big health issue. While she would love to be a notch on Garrett's bedpost, she realizes that she cannot start anything up. After Garrett's relentless pursuit, Olivia decides to enjoy a night with Garrett before she has to begin her long journey to being healthy. After their night together Garrett realizes that Olivia is different and he doesn't want just one night with her, he wants many, maybe even forever. When Olivia refuses, Garrett again pursues her. Once he finds out about her health issues, he wants to be involved even more. I loved their story and the wonderful way Garrett was with Olivia. Everyone needs a special someone in their life like that. I loved their happy ending...it was perfect. I even really loved Olivia's boss, Stevie. He was a hoot! I didn't think Sawyer could top hockey player, Alex Crossman, but I was wrong. Garrett was just as sexy and perfect and Alex was!

I just finished it and want to read it again!!!. Garrett Samuelson, the king of one-night stands, sees a woman that completely takes his breath away. Olivia Case, Sutton's cousin, is a beautiful woman with major health issues. Though she turned him down the first time, she quickly changes her mind. Life is short and maybe even shorter for her, so why pass up the opportunity for an amazing one-night stand. But will one night be enough for Garrett? This is the second book in the Cold Fury Hockey Novel series and I am blown away! Such fantastic writing by Sawyer Bennett. This author took me to places I wasn't ready for but I'm so glad I went. There is more depth to Garrett than I imagined. He was a good guy before but now I might be a little in love. He's thoughtful, caring, sweet and romantic but behind closed doors, watch out! He is sexy as hell, he likes it how he likes it and makes no apologies for it. Behind all the beautiful people and amazing sex, the story is so touching. I laughed...a lot! There were some happy tears and many TRAGIC, so, so sad tears that were cried during this book. But most of all, the epilogue BLEW ME AWAY! When you get to the end, just before you read the epilogue, take a minute, breathe and then start reading again. You really need to read this fantastic book from this amazing author!. But What If You Live???!!!!. That's the ultimate question Olivia has to ask herself. Her relationship with Garrett isn't a conventional one. It starts out as a no strings attached but develops into a loving relationship that neither of them have ever had. This book is AMAZING!

Review: Cold Fury Hockey #2: Garrett. Garrett by Sawyer Bennett is the second book in her Cold Fury Hockey series. And it was another amazing read from the wonderful mind of Miss Sawyer Bennett. Garrett is a flirty playboy of a hockey God. He does not do repeats and always treats his women (for the night) very well. Hockey is his number one love and perhaps then sex with gorgeous women. Olivia is Sutton's cousin and has just discovered a horrible thing and has decided to live life to the fullest. Does that include a one-night stand with Garrett? Or can it be more? Find out what happens when two very different people get out of their own way and try to fall in love. HEA and can be a stand-alone. Sawyer Bennett is an automatic author for me she is that good. Read and enjoy.

Garrett. I loved all the books. Alex, zack waiting for Ryder. Garrett hit home. I had breast cancer and reading it through tears and laughter was such a true feeling. All the books we're special in their own story. Thank you.

He will melt your heart. Another hit by Sawyer Bennett. Seeing Garrett grow from the ultimate playboy you get a glimpse of in Alex and in the beginning of this book, to the man who falls in love - it makes for a great story. Garrett has enough trouble with the fact he is only wanting one woman but add in that she has cancer, and he really doesn't know what to do. But the scene where he goes to her treatment, man, it will melt your heart. Love this book, every single thing about it!

5++ Stars !!! Loved Garrett. Sawyer Bennett has completely captured my heart and blown me away with Garrett !!! This is a must read, full of sexy alpha male, a witty strong willed heroine, and enough emotion to leave you believing in love again !!!

From hopeless to the happiest of endings. Loved it!. One of Bennett's best books to date. I cried quite a bit reading Garrett's story. I was just so in love with him that it emotionally gutted me when things didn't go his way. It's a story about his love interest Olivia beating the odds. But even more you see Garrett, who's well known for his man-whoring ways, open his heart and find love and then has to fight not only the real possibility of losing her to death but also because she thinks she's saving him from pain if she just cuts him loose. Stupid, stupid woman. It was breaking my heart. You've got to read this book. And though there are characters from the first book in the series, Alex, that continue on in this book I would say you could read Garrett as a stand alone. Of course you get a taste of the character Zack who's book is coming soon. Sooooo, you should probably just read them all like me.

Awesome!. I'm not sure how Sawyer does it. Writing about such a sensitive topic the way she did was just breathtaking work. I can't stop recommending her books.

Loved it. This was a great book. Another unique story line! I also really enjoyed that the end has a flash forward decades down the line and you find out what happened to the characters. That was a great way to end the book.

Another score for Sawyer Bennett!. I have been waiting on Garrett's book since the second I finished Alex. The second book in the Cold Fury series certainly did not disappoint. Garrett Samuelson is your quintessential player. He loves women, yet there isn't one he has gone out with more than three times and that is stretching it...he's mostly a one night stand kind of guy. Just prior to training camp starting, he meets the stunning Olivia Case and while he initially plans to find his way into her bed, after she shuts him down, he realizes that maybe there is more to this beauty than what he thinks. What Garrett doesn't realize is that Olivia is harboring a secret, one that only her cousin and best friend know about, that is weighing heavily on her. Her newly diagnosed medical condition is going to present many challenges in the coming months and she doesn't want to drag anyone else into her already chaotic world. While neither Garrett or Olivia are looking for anything serious, they finally decide to go out and things end up progressing much further, and faster, than either of them anticipate. Will they be able to overcome the challenges presented to them by her medical condition and is Garrett really as ready for a relationship as it seems? Sawyer Bennett showed us the realities of dealing with a serious illness, but also what love can do to two people and how it can mold and shape who they are and who they become. I can't wait for Zack's book!

Garrett is Growling Good!!. The cover alone will melt your panties! Hot, Hot, Hot! I was so excited to read Garrett's story and find out what woman would bring him to his knees. I did not expect it to break my heart in the process. This is such a great story that only Sawyer Bennet can deliver. You get to see a side if Garrett that no body else sees and how the love he shows for Olivia brings it all together when he is by her side when she needs him most. This is a book of passion, heart break, love and beating the odds. Enjoyed every minute of it!!

Sawyer has done it again!. Garrett is another hit from Sawyer Bennett. I absolutely loved him in Alex and couldn't wait for his story. I love Sawyer and have read all of her books. They are all so great in different ways and for different reasons. The writing is witty and emotional and always funny. She writes her main characters so that they are strong yet vulnerable. I just love them! Garrett it a major player and never hits the same woman twice. It's his thing and he's known for it. But when he meets Sutton's cousin, Olivia, all bets are off. There's something about her that calls to him and he wants her, and no one is more surprised than him that he wants her for longer than one night. Olivia is attracted to Garrett, but she knows who he is. She's hiding something and it needs her undivided attention, but Garrett is a welcome distraction. Can she keep her heart out of it? Can Garrett convince her to take a chance on him? This is an emotional story about seeing past people's facades and letting them see you at your worst and your best. I can't wait for more! Am I wrong to view Garrett Samuelson as a "juice goodness"? Am I a complete slut to even consider this? The kiss is like lightning, lighting me up from within, and my entire body goes tight with need for this woman. "You're the one that's stunning, Olivia.
