Must read. Ok so ️Rhett in love was a very emotional read for me. It had some real life issues that hit a little home for me and dealing with an alcoholic parent. Also the feelings and things ️Rhett went thru in the book made my heart break for him. He was a very emotional for me to read and I enjoyed reading the journey him and clementine had to go thru to have the happy ever after. Plus there was some awesome sexy scenes and I loled a bit as well.

Nothing Is Easy, Even Love. I received this as an ARC from the very talented J.S. Cooper. This is the continuing story of Rhett Madison and Clementine O'Hara. It is a couple of months down the road and Clementine and Rhett have moved to Boston so Clementine can attend Harvard. They had only dated a couple of weeks before the move and their relationship isn't smoothly transitioning as they thought it would. They have the fears of every new couple and yet feel they have more on the line because of previously being best friends. As with all couples there is jealousy and little things about the other you want to deal with but are afraid to rock the relationship. J.S. Cooper does a great job reading into the mind of every young couple and the feelings they have and uncertainties in a new relationship. She also does an amazing job expressing the feelings Rhett has toward his mother, she opens him up and makes him vulnerable and makes us love him even more. As this books points out, no matter how much you love someone, a relationship with anyone takes work. This book had me turning the pages (and peeking ahead)because I couldn't wait to find out what happens. You will love this and the wonderful surprise at the end.

Good fun read. I enjoyed this 2nd book. It was a lot of fun to read.

Amazing story!. It is official...I LOVE RHETT MADISON!! I mean I loved him in Rhett, but I'm head over heels for the boy now! Rhett was a playboy who did not do relationships until he realized he had feelings for his best friend, Clementine. They began dating and decided to move to Boston and live together soon after. They were both unprepared for the trials they had to face, for what transitioning from friends to lovers truly meant. I completely loved this addition to Rhett and Clementine's story. They have problems and doubts just like any new couple would; it isn't all rainbows and sunshine. Rhett has his jealously over Clementine's new schoolmate. Clementine has her fears of Rhett reverting back to his former self. J.S. Cooper did an excellent job capturing the mindset of every young couple and the uncertainties they face when in a new relationship. The dual POV's worked amazingly well, letting me experience what the characters thought and felt. My heart broke for Rhett, for how much he was hurting because of what his mother did to him. I literally cried at 2 o'clock in the morning as he struggled with his love/hate emotions toward his mother. She completely broke him, made him think that he wasn’t good enough. And because of how vulnerable he became, I fell in love with him even more! J.S. Cooper definitely knows how to write a strong, smart female character. Even though Clementine let Rhett get away with a lot of things, she still made him understand how he made her feel; she made him see that he wouldn’t like it if it was the other way around. And she was so supportive during his ordeal with his mother. She truly loved him, unconditionally and selflessly. This may be my favorite J.S. Cooper book to date! Even though the ending was not “Disney's happily ever after,” so to speak, I'm okay with it. In fact, I actually loved and appreciated that it wasn't. It's a little broken, but that's life. It makes the story more plausible. I LOVED this book and highly recommend it! Favorite line: "I feel like a part of me has always been lost. And the only reason all of me isn't lost is because of you. You’re my map home."
