Sweet and sexy. Loved it! Such a sweet start to a love story. Although, I pretty much figured out who Stella was can't wait to read the next book to find out the details. Definitely a good read!

Confusing. She likes him, she shouldn't like him. He's a jerk, he's not a jerk. I finished this book, but don't anticipate reading the sequel.

Two Words. CLIFF HANGER. A good one that seriously makes me wanna buy the next book. Four stars for no cliff hanger warning and quite a few editing errors. Really great writing and plot though!

MomOfPrincesses. This book was so awesome! I related to it because my mom has cancer and I know I would do anything to help her so her predicament (though kind of downgrading to some) is something anyone would do to save a person they love, No questions asked. Loved it :)

What???. Hot and heavy, build up forever, then the ending that was no ending. It was good, but I like books to have an ending. Disappointed.

Definitely deserves 5 stars. I love Mr. Drake more than Christian Grey! He’s sweet & at the same time, he’s also an alpha. 🥰 I knew already what would happen but it’s still an awesome read!

Wait a minute. Hold the phone!. I am still shaking my head. What just happened here? Get out of here with that! I purchased this book along with the series on a whim. I've purchased other books from Kendall Ryan so I figured why not. I always take reviews into consideration and some had me thinking maybe not. I am so glad I didn't listen to some of them. This book was fantastic. It did not go the way I thought it was. I was absolutely drawn in. Now I have to stop writing this review so I can start Filthy Beautiful Love. Like. Now!

Oh my!. I loved this book! The characters are just amazing! Had I known it ended in a cliffhanger I wouldn't have read it.

Not What I Thought-In A Bad Way. This storyline had potential but I found myself rolling my eyes at the immature dialogue and “innocent girl” the main character was portraying the WHOLE book. I could see that for a couple of chapters but the whole book and NOTHING; I was expecting another chapter or two but the book ended with nothing! I will not be getting any of the other books. I didn’t like the storyline or characters enough to subject myself to the hope that it will get better.

Not for me. I'll pass the rest of this series.. Already judgement begins. Sophie believes because the money she needs is for a worthy cause that you should not judge her, but rather judge the man who bought her. The author is sending a mis-allusion to this form of wealth. Sophie is quick to predict and prejudge based on appearance. Sophie is an over-thinker. Sophie asks no questions regarding the men at the auction and the story makes no mention of the 6 month details of the contract. She constantly harps on the dangers of being with this man yet she was driven by money not safety. Colton purchased companionship and instead gets to train and mold a virgin. Pathetic. Why? I'm tired of society putting so much importance on virginity and the importance of finding your soul mate at the same time. Rather than be presumptuous why not tell the story from a more assertive perspective? Sophie's second guessing and pre-judgements do not interest me. If your going to make Colton appear to be closed off and challenging then stay on track with that form of writing. It's a little late to be concerned with your safety. What questions did you ask about the men bidding on you? You willing sold yourself. You are not a slave, but a prostitute. I do not understand why you think a normal girl can't be interested in sick s***. You think only damaged people are interested in that. Stop stereotyping and do your research. Colton is an arrogant male character constantly bragging out his physique and penis size. They are not pubescent teens, so why are they giving each other hand jobs? Seriously, this story is going to drag on for another 3 more volumes? Not necessary. If this author used her words to engage the reader instead of fill it with minute details of the mansion and shopping than it could have been summed up in one good book.

Passion and intrigue. Sophie starts this adventure to save her sister. And Colton starts it to have some release and a good time. Things quickly change and as they are learning each other a wrench is thrown in the mix. Great characters and storyline. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Really could do without. The “alpha male” or “dominant” is basically non existent in the male lead. ***spoiler*** no sex scenes at all. Just skip to the second book if you are looking for a romance of type. The female character is pretty immature.

Favorite!!. I’ve read this series so many times, one of my absolute favorites. Kendall Ryan is so talented!!

Annoying. So I will read the next book in this series but overall this was annoying and needs some fact checking. I work in clinical trials so the fact that the character is doing this to pay for experimental treatment is an unbelievable tale right out the gate. Experimental treatments are paid for by the manufacturer and the patients insurance. Also I don't feel sorry for the lead female; and I find it irresponsible of the author to portray the lifestyle of the lead male in such an aggressive and egregious way. Especially when you developed the story an in entirely different way. Try harder.

Beyond a 5 star read.. This book is beyond 5 stars. It's captures you from word one. The secrets that surround Colton. The innocence of Sofie. Together they are explosive. Now that ending. Oh. My. Word. I need more!!!

Disappointing and derivative. The premise of this story is pretty dumb. What is even dumber is that even though this girl auctions off her virginity in a strip club, she lucks out with a Christian Grey type without the edge. Completely unrealistic fantasy. Making a bad choice and then being rewarded with a great looking millionaire who is so sweet he won't even take advantage of you? Ridiculous. It is like a boring version of 50 Shades of Grey. I'm surprised this book is labeled as "erotica." when the sex scenes are few and far between and not even very hot. The characters were boring and so was the book. Super dissapointed.

Hooked from the start!. 4.5 Stars  This is book one in the Filthy Beautiful Lies series and it features Colton Drake and Sophie Evans. Their connection was instantaneous! He owns her for the next six months. Sophie knows he’s keeping secrets but maybe she hasn’t earned the right to ask him about them yet. As these  two get closer by the day…BAM!  PLOT TWIST! I was so into the story and when it ended so abruptly, on a cliffhanger, I was left with my mouth hanging open. I NEED to read the next book NOW! This book has a fantastic story line with totally relatable characters.
