Very funny & insightful read. One of my favorite comedians, Aziz Ansari, has written one of the funniest and thoughtful books about dating and romance in the modern age of Tinder and the Internet. A really good read.

Aziz brings clarity in a confusing era of dating. This book is by far one the best book I've read when it comes to seeking meaningful relationships and also provides an understanding on why the "games" are played. I despise the games; if I say I'm interested, I am and why is it so hard to grasp? With the wealth of info in this book and the other bozos ruining chances for the sincerely nice guys out there, I understand now. The reddit is also a nice place to visit after finishing this book.

Love it. And I knew I would. Aziz is one of the more smarter comedians in this day and age so I knew that any book written by him would not only be super funny but educational too. I learned and laughed a lot from this book and I'm sure anyone who picks it up will too.

Aziz Ansaris emotional IQ is 0. Might as well be a sleazy pickup artist book. Interesting statistics that are leveraged to belittle women - This should have been expected from the man who talks about how great RKelly is..

Funny & Informative Read. The humor is why I bought this book (and it is funny) but it was surprisingly informative and helpful.

Oh, Modern Romance!. Absolutely great read! I'm so glad I picked this! I have a better understanding of whyyyyy Romance today is the way it is. From the studies to the comedy, Aziz did his thing!

Hilariously insightful. Aziz tackles the issue of looking for love in this modern age with such wit that you almost forget you are reading a solid book based on scientific research. He addresses every issue that singles face in the dating world today. The book clears up so many questions we all have when looking for love today.

Funny yet truthful look at issues with modern romance. I think this book successfully evaluates a lot of modern issues couples face today and possibly why romance has changed. It investigates if these changes are for the better or worse? It's an interesting look into different beliefs and relationship styles that is sometimes uncomfortable but altogether intriguing to try and understand. The jokes, banter and photos make for a fun read otherwise it would be a lot of boring statistics! Aziz is hilarious as always and makes the stories/issues very relatable.

A delightful read.. In this book you'll see how romance has changed over the decades, the advantage and disadvantages that come with new found technology. It's full of real research (not fake) and a lot of Aziz humor. Buy this book if your interested in human behavior & Aziz's tireless effort to find the best taco.

Insightful and Funny. Reading is a habit I wanted to pick up and I felt this book would be a good start. After reading the first chapter I couldn't put my phone down. This book is amazing. P.S. I only left this review because someone left a one star review without reading the book.

Excellent depiction of romance today.. Ansari injects comedy into the complicated world of dating and young adulthood. Guaranteed to make you laugh at yourself and his hilarious pop culture references.

He should do an audio version. Definitely. And he’s someone that you should absolutely take dating/romance tips from.

FUNNY. I have not finished reading the book, but so far it's hilarious. I can literally imagine, and hear Aziz saying all his remarks in this book. This book was not meant to give you advice in how to get a date, but to state the obvious and make fun of it. If you like Aziz then you will enjoy this book. Highly recommend.

A Modern (APP)lication to Dating. This was a great book! I thought Modern Romance was super interesting, and I enjoyed the deep dive into the social aspects of current dating, backed by science. Anzi presented the statistics and facts of modern dating with comedic appeal, which made the book easy to read. Loved it. I especially enjoyed it as a young women navigating through online and App dating.

Modern Romance. A few funny and witty remarks, some interesting data, and an easy read. Heteronormative and limited in scope by necessity, but altogether a quick insightful look at romance in our hyper-technological world and society.

Very funny and thought provoking. I have enjoyed everything Aziz does and this book does not disappoint. He keeps the reader entertained while still giving a pretty accurate description of what it is like to be single (I am) in a modern world. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys his standup.

Not just another comedian writing a book. I was really pleasantly surprised how well thought out and executed this books take on dating in the modern tech age was really. Once I started the book I couldn't stop. I love his standup specials and this was not a comedy book as much as it was a book about modern dating as told by a comedian. A well informed and savvy comedian.

Modern Romance. This book is fantastic. A comedian takes a sociological perspective on today's dating scene and it could not be any more interesting. Aziz did an incredible amount of research for this project and it shows. For me, a lot of this book was very relatable and it helped me realize that I'm not the only person out there feeling and experiencing the same things. This book made me change the way I approach life and that's what a good book is supposed to do.

Nah. I'm good dude is barely a comedian just good marketing

Kinda bummed. Was super excited for book to come out. Raised urge to pick it up before I saw him live to get my copy. Love him on TV. He's great at stand up. But this book is not funny. Points out a lot of obvious changes in dating over generations. Some interesting but not shocking statistics. And no jokes. Written in light conversational tone. But boring. I put it down after 35 pages. I can't imagine ever finishing it

Great read!!. I could chalk this up with all other self-help books on relationships and just let it simmer in mediocrity, but I can't. It would not do this book justice. This book is a hilarious and honest take on romance in the 21st century, more specifically, this current decade! It leaves the reader and its intended audience with an opportunity to bond with other readers on a common, ongoing pursuit. While several factors were eliminated for simplicity and book length, it presents the reader with a bottom line: establishing a balance in the changes provided to us through technology and the person created in that world versus the life we live tangibly. Achieving this will give us the best shot at finding the ONE we want to love. Any book at encourages its readers to embrace change and keep in touch with reality is solid, in my honest opinion! He can't stop here! This book needs a sequel to explore other factors!
