Loved it!. I really enjoyed this book. The characters are well-written and I find myself wanting to know what will happen to them. I read this book over a couple of days - I couldn’t put it down!

Fantastic book. An excellent first book, now followed by a superbly written second book. Thick plot, lots of character development. All the important people now have more dimension, we know different sides of them, and they are fascinating. The plot is layered, with politics, machinations, cunning plans all interwoven into a great story. Have to reread it a few times to get all the nuances, at least for me. Seriously, love love love it.

Finally some ACTION *wink*. White Hot is book 2 in the Hidden Legacy series by Ilona Andrews. Magic, mystery, and romance (finally!) abound in this fast paced continuation of Nevada and Rogan's story! So, we get deeper into both Nevada and 'Mad'/Connor which I really appreciated. Nevada's skills are developing and she is becoming more confident. We also get more back story on Mad that helps understand him and his actions. Their non-relationship is filled with so much sexual tension you think it will combust at any moment. But, like all people, there are plenty of real life obstacles that prevent them from being together. They still have to work together though! Nevada's family is hilarious and brings such great entertainment to the story. Seriously, they are just awesome. I love books with great families and White Hot delivers. What will keep you flipping pages long after your bedtime though is the action. What Andrews has created is a deep, rich plot with so many twists and dangers you can't find a good stopping point until the story is over. So many people waited years after reading book 1, burn for me, to get White Hot. I was lucky and just read Burn for Me when I was offered a copy of White Hot. And, book 3, Wildfire, is releasing in August, so now is a perfect time to pick up this series! If you enjoy paranormal romance or urban fantasy romance, I think the Hidden Legacy series is exactly what you will want to read next!

Secrets. Excellent story! Nevada is about to help solve a mystery but in the process she will unleash information which will attract the interest of lots of people. This book is continuing with the main theme from the first book. Someone is out for revenge but the whole I want to create a new society is coming into play. There is lots of hidden venues and twists but the story will keep you captivated! Nevada and Connor will go forward in their relationship with Nevada fighting but eventually she will stop. Such humor kept me chuckling at many places. I love Bern, Leon, Catalina, Arbella, Bug and especially grandma Frieda. Mom is the stabilizer in this story but it doesn’t mean her every suggestion is followed. Follow the action and enjoy this excellent story!

amazing storytelling. Let's face it, if the team of Ilona Andrews writes it, I'm going to read it. Everything that this husband and wife team has produced has been everything an avid reader, such as myself, would love to find in every book they pick up. WHITE HOT is another perfect example of this amazing storytelling by this duo. I received this ARC copy of White Hot from Avon in exchanged for a honest and voluntary review.

I Need This Book. I think I might kill someone for this book right now. Just finished burn for me for the 8th time. I can't last SEVEN MORE MONTHS!!!!!!! I'm totally gonna get arrested for murder, then all never get my hands on this glorious BOOK. I buy all your works, I swear my hands have never been happier relinquishing that precious cash for one of your books. I adore you both, and I'm so glad you are writers

Magic. This second book in the series delivered with great action between the tension of the love interests. Looking forward to the third

Perfect.. If you read and loved 'Burn For Me,' you pre-ordered this book and downloaded it the minute it became available. If you're accustomed to disappointment from the second or successive books in a series, this story will break that pattern. At heart, this is a romance. It's full of adventure and a detailed mystery that crosses into thriller territory on occasion. The climax is a HFN, followed by a hook to the next and final story in the trilogy. This is not a standalone, as many of the details are richly connected to the first installment. It's a smooth read, and the editing is well done - grammar, spelling and syntax won't get in the way of enjoying every line. It's a satisfying and energizing story from an author team who consistently delivers. Perfect.

Worth the wait. Waited a very long time for the release of this book after reading Burn For Me and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, I read it twice in a row and I never re-read books. My favorite Ilona Andrews book ever! It has a very dreamy male lead and a lot more romance than other Ilona Andrews stories and it’s really done right (didn’t really care for the On the Edge series). Same amazing world building you expect. Can’t wait for the next book!!!.

Excellent. This series is brilliantly written.

Better and better. I can't help but feel Ilona Andrews have hit their stride and adore all the writings pouring forth ! The innkeeper series are rich and mature but still playful and endearing and this series has the sass and grit with a big dollop of decadent sexy on top. Give me more stars five is not enough. If you like Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan and the spinning tales or Kresly Cole and Gena Showalter anything Ilona Andrews is for you.
