Worth reading. When I read a good book on this site I usually give it a 4 rating. This was my first 5 !

Back to Lazarus. The sign, to me, that I've read a good book is that I can't put it down. The second one is that I don't want it to end. Back to Lazarus is one of those books. I look forward to reading another book from Judy Walker!

Back to Lazarus. This book was well written, moving the story along at a good clip. The protagonist was refreshingly different from the usual, predictable, apologizing self-doubting woman, and the other characters weren't the predictable doubters.

Back to Lazarus. WOW! Really terrific read! Complex characters with complex relationships, twisting mystery and dual familial problems of the heroine and her client....wow! Kudos for proper grammar (local vernacular aside), punctuation, etc. So many independents rely only on spellcheck, resulting in several blatant errors, detracting from the joy of the read. Only found a couple of missing articles in yours.

Must read more!!. Just finished Back to Lazarus and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading the next one. Good twists and turns kept it interesting and it was a fun read.

Back to Lazarus. This was a haunting cold case with interesting characters wit and suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Good development. I thought this book was really well done. You kinda figure out who the killer is about 2/3 of the way through but you’re not sure why. So there’s no mind-boggling plot twist at the end but there’s still a climax scene, at which point everything is revealed, and ultimately I was very satisfied with the conclusion. I read legal & crime novels pretty much constantly and I’d definitely read more from this author.

Back to Lazarus. Good read. I’d recommend it to anyone liking a good mystery.

Surprisingly good!. I downloaded this book one day when a few friends and I were trading book sites. The sample was crisp and fast paced - altogether a prospective enjoyable vacation read. Didn’t finish it over my vacation but had to keep reading back at home. I will look for this author again!

Back To Lazarus. Just discovered my new favorite author. When this happens I drop everything to devote time to read everything they write. This has it all..., mystery, murder, hints of romance, and well, explore for yourself.

Back to Lazarus. Great book. Characters were so believable I felt I knew them. Really related to Sydney. I read this book at intervals in waiting rooms and always looked forward to getting back to it. Plan to read another Sydney book right away.

Surprisingly well done indie book. Back to Lazarus is a nicely done story with many layers. With intrigue and well developed characters it kept me entertained to the very end. If you like mysteries and action, you won't go wrong with this entertaining book.

Back To Lazarus. I read A LOT, and this definitely was one of the most enjoyable books I've read in a long time.

Great read. To be honest I had a hard time getting into this book. I read a few chapters, put it down and read a few other books, came back again... I'm glad I stuck with it! It really started getting good about midway through, and I enjoyed it. Well written, fleshed out characters. Worth the read.

Great read. Storyline was really good - you definitely couldn't wait to get to the next page because something big was slowly unraveling and you wanted to get to it as soon as possible! I will read more Sydney Brennan stories for sure!

Interesting. Amazing mystery/suspense story. Sydney is a detective hired to find out why a prisoner hung himself, twenty four years after he killed his wife. As she gets closer to the truth is her life in danger as well? Great read
