Happy Ending after all 😍. I love the story and the development of each character. Francesca may be frustrating at times but it was so worth it at the end. I wish the author added longer epilogues like the other books. I just wanted more and hate to leave to my imagination;)

STEAMY & SEXY. This has to be the most erotic of all the books in this series! Definitely not for the faint hearted or prudish mindsets. Michael is sexy and handsome as sin, the misunderstood playboy of the period who drowns his heart with mere flings. On a different note, I love how we get to have snippets of the other Bridgerton siblings in these books.

Superbly Developed Characters. This is probably my all-time favorite historical romance novel. They are both so compatible and have such chemistry. Love it!

Can’t stop reading. I couldn’t put this down. Truly a well written book about love.

When He Was Wicked. I think this one may just be my favorite of all the Bridgerton books to date. I was swept in from the beginning and cried as Francesca experienced her losses and shared in the joy she later felt. This book had all the feels.

Best so far. I’m reading the books in order and this by far has been my favorite. It’s nice to read about someone who is able to enjoy herself. Also, the topics throughout the book were meaningful. Very much enjoyed this book.

Best Book of the Series. After watching the Netflix version, S1 & S2, I can honestly say this is my favorite book of the series. That may well be because I rarely heard of Francesca due to her age. Well she isn’t a young child now - she is quite entertaining!

Better than I thought. This book was really really really hot. I think of all the Bridgerton novels I’ve read so far (5), this was hands down the spiciest and sexiest, yet. While yes, it was a slow build to the climax of the story, it was worth it. This book was sad, but it also made me literally cry big wet happy tears for Francesca by the 2nd epilogue. Michael is a great character and anyone plagued by unrequited love can understand him. I loved the dramatics and sarcasm from him as well. All in all I liked this book a lot more than I thought I would and would definitely recommend not skipping it as I almost did.

Absolutely amazing. This book was by far my favorite book in series ! I wasn’t to excited to read it because Francesca is hardly in the other novels, but this took me by surprise. This book was steamy, heart wrenching and had me in tears a few times. I don’t advise skipping the second epilogue at the very end because it truly did it for me, pushed it pasted my expectations. Absolutely amazing!

My favorite of the Bridgerton books so far. Such a lovely story between these characters. Didn’t know much of Francesca before but really loved the love story between all of the characters.

Wow. Unexpectedly good! Everything of this book was different, and surprising. I enjoyed it since the very beginning to te final word of it.

Wickedly Slow. Francesca’s story was heartbreaking at the beginning. The two major loses in her life seemed more than one person should be made to bear. Michael on the other hand suffered as badly as she did in his own devoted way. This was a lovely story however it seemed that it was a bit slow moving If I’m honest it may have been because Francesca drove me crazy being in denial and constantly running away. I was exhausted by the time I finally got to the Happy Ending.

Best of them all. I watched the tv series and I bought all the books and read them in a week, and I didn’t wan to read this one because I thought Francesca was boring in the tv series but I was bored so I read it and I was amazingly surprised, without a doubt this is the best story of them all, he loved her before he had her, before sex and orovocation, it’s supposed to be Francesca’s story but it felt more like Michael’s story and I live it

Wonderful story. I was not looking forward to Francesca’s story. In truth because she was the least interesting sibling. But from the very start I was hooked. Each time I read these books I think it can get better than the he last book. But each time I fall in love all over again.

Surprised me tbh. I wouldn’t consider my self a hopeless romantic. But, I did enjoy this because it wasn’t rushed, and I can confidently say this is the perfect epitome of a romance novel. (In my opinion)

Luckily there come better days. Michael Stirling has been in love with Francesca since he first saw her, but she became the wife of his cousin. When tragedy strikes and he assumes the title, he promptly takes off to India for several years to try distance himself from the woman he can never have. When he returns, will he find his feelings have lessened? Or will he do what needs be done to claim the love of his life?

Without a doubt the best book of the series so far. I hope they bring these characters to life, passionate & steamy I loved every minute of reading this story. I fell in love with Michael and the story of Francesca .. I couldn’t put the book down & when I did I couldn’t wait to find out what’s happening next .. I didn’t want it to end..

The BEST bridgerton book. In the series Francesca isn’t in it much and I wasn’t too bothered about reading this one but omg I am obsessed!!!! Can’t wait for them to cover this story on Bridgerton 😍🥰🤣

Absolutely amazing. This book is one of my favourite books in the series along with the viscount who loved me. The beginning is beautifully written and it gives us a better insight into the character of Francesca as she has little mention in any of the other books. Therefore in her book the other Bridgerton siblings are rarely mentioned. The passion she has with Micheal is surreal! Got to say he is my favourite bridgerton by marriage. This is a very steamy book. It made me cry and laugh and love this book a lot! In addition I read the 2nd epilogue a few days ago and omg my emotions bounced up and down. Got to say this book is definitely worth the read it's very different to the others but I guess that's what makes it so amazing.

One of the best!. I had two favourites in this series and this was the first one. In the show, you don’t really meet Francesca and I actually didn’t realise she was one of the siblings until I started reading the books. I expected I’d be bored by her story seeing as they didn’t find it important to include her as a main character in the show so I assumed (very wrongly) that’s hers wouldn’t be that exciting a read. I definitely didn’t expect for it to be one of my favourites. Both main characters are flawed, human and deeply loyal to Francesca’s first love and Michael’s cousin who passed away much too young. Their coming together is not rushed. It’s slow, patient and perfect for them. It’s such an incredible book.
