....Interesting..... I was not able to get the idea of the story. I am a huge fan of diary of the wimpy kids, but this one was definitely not my favorite. I have noticed that it is hard to get into. I have been reading it at school for weeks now. I just managed to finish it today. I am not trying to hate on the story! Like I said I love the series! Can’t wait to read the next one though. That is all I have for you.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Here’s what I’ve seen from Kinney’s books over the past five years old reading them. (In middle school now, been reading those books since I was 7). Reducing: The amount of jokes in each book seems to have gotten smaller. Reusing: Jokes he does put in are very repetitive. Recycling: The material in his books all are about the same thing. Kinney just grabs a similar idea from one of his previous books, I feel like, and changes things up just a little bit. If you were to read all his books in one sitting, for example, you would probably notice that “Greg” seems to address the same things about his mom and screen and all that. Pros: Overall, the book was decent. I liked that idea of Silas Scratch and how Kinney was able to create this whole “middle school camping” adventure.

Very Funny. Hilarious book 😂😂. Loved when Greg and his cabin mates went on the raid to collect deodorant. Greg and grandpa going on a drive was pretty good too. Love the book overall.
