Beautiful. This book has such a beautiful story and characters. I absolutely love the writing is the plot the climax and the ending. I love the relationship that was absolutely beautiful and the book itself just set the tone for the growth in this writers writing. This is by far one of her best books.

Terrible.. If you watch Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder, there is no reason to read this book. The characters and situations are so similar that this book could have taken place in Shondaland. The lack of imagination was insulting as a reader. Not to mention the terrible editing. Words were missing and it seemed like there were grammatical errors on every page. My frustrations grew the longer I read. Not worth it.

Great Read!. I enjoyed reading Black Rainbow. The story held my attention the entire time which very few books have done lately. There were a lot of grammatical errors in the book; however I didn’t feel like it took away from the story. Great read!

Sweet!. I was going through 50 shades withdrawal...I read, Jacinda Wilder's trilogy and I wasn't thrilled with Sylvia Day's Bared to You. This book was a breath of fresh air. Although there are several grammatical errors that really bugged me, it is still a nice read.

Thank you so much JJ McAvoy this story had everything, mystery drama steam and romance . All of my emotions were satisfied with this read. I Highly recommend this standalone novel

Good. Enjoyable. Yes this book has a " to get away with murder" feel, but it is it's own entity. Enjoyable and fast paced. Would read com this author again.

Best book ever. Okay think HTGAWM + Scandal + Greys Anatomy romance this book is everything & more. Levi is the hot professor & Thea is the smart, funny, strong, independent, broken law student who turned his world upside down. I cannot begin to tell you how good of a plot this story has. Everything went at a good pace, nothing was rushed, forced or didn’t make sense. The chemistry between Levi & Thea was scorching hot & the relationship + bond they formed was so swoon worthy not without a bit of struggles though. What I really enjoyed about this book was that we actually got a real story behind the hot scenes, behind the romance, behind Thea & Levi there are real life issues that we are currently facing in the world today that were discussed such as race, sexuality, politics & so much more. I’m actually really floored by this book & I cannot wait to read more by this author.

Did not want to let these characters go!. I absolutely loved this book! Just one quarter of the way in and I knew I was not going to want to let these characters go! I usually get irritated when the story line goes back and forth in between the past and present however that did not slow things down a bit for me.

Good Story Line !. This is my first time reading this author and I enjoyed the characters and the plot line. She kept the story exciting and moving at a good pace , kept you involved to the end. Exciting !!

Pretty Good. A fantastic read laced with romance and mystery. However, the lack of editing deterred me from wanting to continue but I'm super glad I stuck with it. Some words were missing or were spelt wrong. Looking past that, though, this book was great.

Great read. This book was great! I really enjoyed the plot and storyline. I couldn't get enough of Levi and Thea's relationship. Except for some grammatical errors, I would recommend this book to others.

Black rainbow. Best book ever amazing

Wow. I read a lot, and I have to say this is a stand out book. Though it follows the theme of lust and love within a steamy connection between two compelling characters. The best part is the detail and story line surrounding the passion. It kept me turning just one more page until I was desperate for the end. Well done I am a very satisfied reader.

A must read. Theirs nothing I love more then a novel I can't put down. Black rainbow had me from page one.

Good story / worst editing ever!. This book has a great story line and is well worth the read. BUT I think it must have missed the actual editing pile. The number of simple grammatical and spelling errors is quite atrocious. Whoever did the editing of this book did the worst job of it I’ve ever seen, a middle school student could have done better. It definitely made the book less enjoyable to read which was a shame. I feel a bit sorry for the author ;(

Black Rainbow. Great story! Be warned that the editor dropped the ball. If it wasn't for the fact that this was a beautiful story, I wouldn't recommend it because of the numerous grammatical errors. It really needs to be corrected.
