So......... So much to say about the book, but I just really can't wait for another book. I love Emma and Carter's story.

Carter Reed 1 & 2. Great reads. I got Cole from suggestion to read on iBooks. I enjoyed it. Afterwards, when I read the reviews there were many good comments about Carter so I got them too. Have to say, I am now a fan. Lots of twists and turns. Heartbreaking moments as well as heart lifting times Highly recommend

I enjoyed this series. I loved Cole and his loyalty to Emma and his family... it was heated and fierce..

CR2 - another winner from Tijan!!. Loved this book! I'm so happy that Tijan continued Carter & Emma's story with another book. And soooo great that we got a lot of the backstory with characters from book 1 (Carter Red) and some new, important characters. This one hit on every emotion. I highly recommend both Carter Reed books (as well as Tijan's other books), they are both great reads. I just couldn't put this one down & read it all in one evening! I'd love to see even more Carter Reed books...great storyline with lots of possibilities!!

Another amazing book from Tijan!!!. I could not have been any happier when I found out that Tijan was giving new life to Carter Reed and she was gracing us with a book 2. Yay, The Cold Killer is back!! There is just something special about Carter that has stuck with me. I love mafia books and hot protective alpha males and these are some of the traits that make Carter so flipping hot. Things are a bit more serious in this book. The Mauricio and Bartel families have changes going on that affect Carter and his girlfriend Emma. I love that in this book Emma is confident about what being with Carter means. She stands by her man and does it proudly. A friend and brother of sorts to Carter comes back from the past and changes everything. As well as someone from Emma's past. We finally get answers to some lingering questions from book 1 and it was nice getting a closure to them. This book has it all. Mystery, deceit, love of family and romance. It was nice getting to keep up with Theresa, Noah and Amanda from the first book. It is great seeing how Emma and Carter along with the others have made a family for themselves. I also want to make note that Emma and Carter's security team/bodyguards rocked in this book. I loved this book and highly recommend it, as well as book 1 Carter Reed(which you should read first).

Sold 3 because..... I came across Cole’s book first then doubled back to read about Carter. And I’m glad I did. I enjoyed Carter better, maybe because I got more of him with 2 books. I found it to be well written with minor errors and few points where situations dragged on longer than needed. But overall I’d definitely read more from the author. Now I can only give it 3 stars because Of EMMA. I found her character to be the stubborn and in the way and child like. I really tried to like her but then she would do foolish things that would have me throwing my hands in the air and talking to myself out loud lol ( that’s why it’s well written. Pulled emotion out me). I would have preferred to see her character after being through so much become a strong female lead to Carters lethal persona but she was more of a bother. I’ve never read a character who wanted to be such a help and protect her man but always end up in situations and unable to handle herself 🙄 and got Carter in situations because she refused to see reason in terms of safety and what was going on with the brewing war. Nothing wrong with a stubborn woman but dang it even I know when to zip it and let a man lead. Carter spent too much time explaining to her. Carter should have layed down the law on quite a few occasions without discussion. He chills have been more firm with her. After the previous deal with her killing a member of the rival family she should have known the protocols instead she behaved as a child and had a few to many break downs for me. So because the main female in the book didn’t really develop into a strong character or really complimented Carter I can only give it 3. There’s supposed to be Carter Reed 3 which o will read and hopefully Emma can mature and redeem herself 🙏🏾

Perfect ending to a perfect story!. Book 2 was the perfect closing to the Carter Reed series! This book had me interested from the beginning straight to the end and I’m so happy with it. I couldn’t of asked for anything more from this book and I appreciate the authors creativity. She created a wonderful storyline that I definitely will read about again!

Tangled Web. This author has written in such way that you feel like the spider drawn into a web Of characters. Each with their own personality. The loyalty is fierce The love sizzles. Twist and turn keep you in the web until the end.

Amazing Reed!!!!. I absolutely LOVED this book!!! I just finished both books in Two Days!!!!!🤩🤩🥰 I’m literally addicted to the way these characters feel about each other and the way Tijan delivers their feelings to Us!!! They have such a Deep and Intense Relationship and I’m so saddened that the books are OVER!!! I need more of their story and what happens Now???? Please give Us another one or a Novella!!! I’m so in love with Carter and Emma!!! Wonderful Writing and Great Story!!! 🤩🤩🤩❤️ Spoiler...if you read Coke first you will meet Carter and Emma in his story but Titan doesn’t reveal anything about their story in that book.

Carter Reed 2. Thoroughly enjoyed this sequel- couldn't put it down once I started to read it!

Best read to date. Kept me on the edge of my seat for 24 hours, yes I did the book and started the other one in 2 days! You will not be able to put it down

Loved every second of it. What a great sequel! I lives the first book and was over the moon when I heard that there would be a second one. Lots of danger and events in this book that you wouldn't have seen coming! Truly a great book and worth a read as long as you've read the first one . Get reading!

Riveting. Although I’m not sure this book fits into the romance genre it was a great read !! Tijan never disappoints in her writing! Plenty of action and suspense with some crazy love mixed in (haha)
