Sweet, sexy, funny, and romantic. Lovey's life seems to be a series of flighty half-decisions, and her latest has landed her at her famous hockey player brother's doorstep. Leaving her boyfriend and job behind, she's ready to make something of herself in the big city, but now that she's seen her brother's roommate, she's looking to make a move on him as well. The Verdict: Lovey grew up in her big brother Duncan's shadow. So while the family's entire life revolved around Duncan's eventual professional hockey career, Lovey was placated and spoiled by parents who didn't have enough time for her. She's not really bitter about it, but it's clearly had an effect on who she's become as an adult. As soon as her latest romance became too serious and her job too limiting, she split, showing up unexpectedly on Duncan's doorstep and expecting him to take her in until she can build a new life for herself. Honestly, this is where Lovey lost me a bit. She's kind and warm-hearted, and she truly doesn't harbor any bad feelings toward her brother for always hogging everyone's attention. But while she's busy trying to be her own person and prove she's not nearly as irresponsible as everyone thinks she is, she's pretty much the embodiment of being irresponsible. In many ways, she acts like an immature teenager, refusing to set Duncan's mind at ease by telling him about the business she's starting and the potential she has for success. She sees nothing wrong with mooching off of him for a while, even when he makes it clear that he doesn't really want her there, and she sometimes comes off a spoiled brat rather than a young woman striving for true independence. However, she's young, trying to figure out who she is and what makes her happy, and in that sense, her immaturity is realistic. Who among us hasn't been young and not so wise? Duncan's roommate Marc is another story, though, and he quickly won me over. He's intelligent and thoughtful, and he's ridiculously attracted to Lovey. However, he's also dedicated to his team and career, and the last thing he needs is for Duncan to lay him out for looking at his sister. But their instant chemistry works against him, and as much as he tries to resist his feelings for her, she constantly tempts him, making keeping his distance impossible. I'm not much for French accents, but I have no problem making an exception for Mark. I wish we'd gotten a deeper look into his personality, but he definitely didn't fall flat. Having just come out of a break-up and bearing plenty of responsibility for the team, he's got his hands full already. But Lovey is the opposite he's attracted to, and aside from steaming up the place, they made for a great couple. Major Misconduct is the first book I've read by Kelly Jamieson, but I dare say it won't be my last. It's a great start to the series, and it introduces some interesting characters whose own stories I wouldn't mind following. Her brother has warned everyone off that she is off limits. As her brother's best friend, Marc is sure to stay away, right? Marc knows if he does not stay far away from Lovey, he will give in to the want that rips through him every time he is in her presence. He thinks about her all the time. He has never felt this way about any woman. Lovey and Marc end up sneaking around behind her brothers back. What he does not know won't hurt him, right? After all, he thinks she has never grown up. Maybe it is time to come clean with a few truths? This book is seriously HOT! A great start to the Aces Hockey series! I loved the hockey fun, the hotties that were on just about every page, the banter, the character development, and more. Great start to new series. I love hockey! So when books are written about hot hockey guys I am all over it. Kelly is one of the best writing about these guys. Major Misconduct is the first book in her new Aces hockey series. She starts off with the captain Marc Dupuis. He is a hottie who takes his job seriously but needs reminded how to loosen up and have fun. Lovey Armstrong is his roommate's sister who shows up out of the blue to move to Chicago. Lovey is what you would call a free spirit, not looking to be tied down, especially to a relationship. Or so it would seem. When these three end up living together for awhile all bets are off between Marc and Lovey.

This is my first read by this author so I didn't really know what to expect. It kept me wanting chapter after chapter. There were steamy scenes and there was romance. A great combination of them as well. The characters had a great chemistry as well. I would highly recommend this read. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Sexy Hot!. Loved everything about this story! Loved the main characters as well as the secondary characters. The way in which Lovey meets Marc is adorable it was witty, created wonderful banter to the start of the relationship as well as showed an instant attraction by both. I liked the push and pull they had on each other, and all of this made for off the chart chemistry. I thought their story was well rounded, developed nicely and I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end. I pretty much grinned from ear to ear while reading this. This was entertaining and oh so hot! Lovey Armstrong has come to Chicago to crash with her rich brother Duncan, who is a professional Ice Hockey player for the Chicago Aces. After being in her brother's shadow all of her life she wants to prove to everyone that she can also succeed and do something well. She has just broken up with her boyfriend that wanted to get married and have babies. Lovey lives by her Motto "Live, Love, Laugh", she is fearless, smart and lovable. Full of life and the kind of girl you would want to be friends with. Marc Dupuis is Captain of the Chicago Aces, and is a roommate and best friends with Duncan, Lovey's brother. He is all about his responsibilities that being a Captain entails, but he is also intelligent, serious, but with a self- deprecating humor. Wide shoulders, chiseled eight pack Abs, lean muscular thighs with a adorable French Canadian accent, he is HOT! And who wouldn't want some of that? When she interrupts his morning coffee wearing only a skimpy Cami and matching panties, and he is wearing only boxer briefs, they both are instantly attracted to each other, but when he finds out she is Duncan's little sister she is strictly off limits. But what Lovey wants, and she wants Marc, Lovey gets! But as Marc gives her the cold shoulder, every other single guy on the team is lusting after Lovey, taken in by her cute luminous smile and rockin body. But jealousy raises its head and Marc just can't keep his thoughts off Lovey. Will Lovey be able to get what she wants? Or will Marc not break the "Bro-code". You will have to read to find out.
