Fabulous!. I read this book in one sitting! The only disappointing thing about this book is, is that it ended. Luckily the next book is already out. Caine and Addison are a couple with so much possibility. Addison is scared and has a tremendous amount of responsibility raising her much younger brother and sister. She'll do anything for her siblings to keep them safe and together, even giving up Caine if need be. Violet Duke has another super great read with this one. Don't miss out on reading a great book!

Heartbreaking. Addison had never truly known real love other than from her siblings who relied on her. Until she met Caine at the restaurant she worked at. Addison worried about people finding out her secrets . She was brave and carrying and had no clue what was to happen next. I found I could not put this book down and cried through some of it. I can't wait to read the other half of the story I love this book

Great first half!. I loved the first half of Caine and Addison's story. I look forward to the second half coming out in a few weeks.

LOVE IT!. What a great beginning to a new series!!! Addison is raising her younger siblings on her own after their mom leaves and doing it in her van. When she gets a job at the local diner she meets Caine who's a cop. They're interested in each other but for different reasons are staying hands off. When Addison finds out she has a stalker who gives up her secrets will Caine stay by her side or do what his job says he should do? WOW! What a great story line with characters that you want more of. It's the start of their love story and the story could be that of anyone around you. This story does have a cliffhanger and OMG what a cliffhanger! I can't wait to find out what happens next! A definite must read for anyone who loves a great story!

Before that Night. Heart wrenching reality.

So so..... First, I don't like 2 part books, but this one was free. So, I thought I would give it a try. It's a descent story, but it felt like a first draft of a good idea. Won't read the second part.

I can not stress it enough.. I want whoever is reading this review, to check if the book is worth reading, to read this book and the second one that finishes Caine and Addison’s story. This duo is so unbelievably good I am at a lost for words to describe it. The storyline is amazing, the character development was incredible (the author does a fantastic job writing in a way the reader can easily picture the characters as if they are in the story right there with them), and to top it off the pull between the two and the way it plays out is such a shock!! As I was reading through the end I could not believe what was happening!! It’s an outstanding book/duo with characters that will stick with you after you finish. AND the second book is JUST AS AMAZING!!! (if not better, I don’t know they are both neck and neck for first place) This is for sure on my list of top favorites.

Amazing. I've had this book in my TBR for a really long time, waiting for the second book to release. I knew it would end on a cliffhanger, so that's why I waited. I generally don't like cliffhangers, but I've really enjoyed Violet Duke's writing in the past, so I had to read it. I'm so AHHH! right now because I don't have the conclusion in my e-reader yet, but it is supposed to release soon, so I'm braving it. Caine and Addison were so adorable together! Even though he is her senior by nine years, she is really older than her actual 20. I am waiting with bated breath to see what happens when she comes back to town!

Oh boy! Can't wait!. This is a new series for Violet Duke and this first book about Caine and Addison was so good. Poor Addison raised her brother and sister from a very young age. She worked very hard to give them a stable childhood all the while they were living in an old van. Along comes Officer Caine and her world goes into a spin! It's a cliffhanger but a good one. Can't wait to read the next installment of their life!

Love! Must read!!!!. I absolutely love the first half of this book and cannot wait for the second part. This book follows this story of this brave 19 year old girl, Addison, who has everything to loose by letting herself fall for Caine. The part I loved must about this book is you get bits and pieces of the struggles she has been through and how she continues to always put everyone above herself. She never once worries about what is or may be best for her, but she can help and make things better for everyone else. She faces these impossible odds, but seems to survive everyday! I cannot wait to find out if their love is strong enough to overcome the seven years that have passed!

Love this book!. I’ve reread this book and the second one three times it’s that good! I’m a sucker for romance novels and this one is great. Off topic slightly lol I’m very intrigued to try Addison’s coffee blend, as a coffee and tea lover it sounds interesting lol

Love waits for all. Violet has me in the palm of her hands with all her stories. Each one puts me in another world. This one takes me back to Cactus Creek. For anyone that has read the stories, you will recognize names but if you have not don't worry. This is set up a two part series where the second one will take place years from now. Caine is a by the book police officer who always is there for everyone and can be depended upon. Addison is much like him but the ones that depend on her are her younger siblings who she is just trying to keep moving forward with their lives. For the first time in a long time she does something for herself and finds what she has been looking for. In the end she realizes that others need to come first and what she wants the most has to be set aside. This story will move you to tears and make you want to help in anyway that you can. I can hardly wait for the next story!

Before That Night. I hate when a book doesn’t start and finish and you have to buy the next one or two to find out how the story ends! It’s frustrating and as a reader ... not fun when you invest the time and effort to get to know the characters and are left hanging at the end of the book😕
