Sorta racist. I was not fond of the way the "bad guys" are Mexican and the housekeeper is Mexican.. not sure what a Mexican accent sounds like but.. Also, numerous amount of misspelled words!

Ghost Detective. What an interesting premise for a book! I thoroughly enjoyed Scott William Carter’s book, Ghost Detective. That the main character, Myron Vale, can see and communicate with ghosts adds interest in this detective tale. I look forward to reading more in this series.

Very interesting. Wasn’t sure what this was going to be but glad I picked it. Very different. Quite plausible. Certainly good for thought I believe I need to read more! Mickey

An Interesting Perspective. A very interesting perspective on the whole being able to see ghosts thing intertwined with a well written, hard to put down P.I. story. I’m looking forward to reading the second book in the series!

Good story. Needs editing badly.. Clearly this is a good writer; creative, excellent storyteller. But this book has a lot of errors, missing words, spelling, etc. Also feels like chapters were written in different order and needed to be assembled with more care. The novel did not track well between some chapters. Yet, with all of that, I enjoyed the read. Hence the four stars.

Good story. I enjoyed the story but the grammar needs to be more thoroughly checked before publishing. There were a lot of grammatical errors that cheapened the story.

Great book!. What an imagination and may be true. Ghosts don't really go anywhere, they are still around.

Very enjoyable!. Ghost detective was a truly enjoyable book. I can't wait to start reading the next installment. The characters were interesting and the writing made you want to keep reading to see what happens next. If I have one criticism it's that the time Changes between chapters could have been smoother. Maybe it's me but a few times I had to stop and think oh this was before/after so and so. As a whole I would recommend reading this funny, sometimes sad,yet very entertaining story.

Annoying. I actually didn’t finish the book. Well I made it nearly to the end , but gave it up after the main plot was finished. I thought the premise was great but the execution just didn’t work for me. I was mostly annoyed with the main characters. Anyway I’ve read other books from this author and loved them, however this character is off my list.

Great read. Provocative and action packed. Believable characters. All around a fun and addictive read. Kudos

My favorite Ghost Story !. I have read a lot of books with ghosts in the story but this one is definitely better/different from all the others. I rarely write reviews (my apologies to other authors who I actually liked their stories but just left 5 Stars for them). This book was a perfect read for me in all ways. The story never felt “cookie cutter” or “predictable “. The title of the book did not grab my attention but I am so happy I chose to read it anyway.

Needs editing. Fun and provocative read. The downside is it needs professional editing. I’m not an editor, but I found at least 8 instances where words were missing or wrong. That just screams amateur to me. The author definitely has potential.

Ghosts. An interesting story and well written. The story involves many people all connected to one person and ghosts. Myron sees ghosts and as you read the story you will find out why. I do not believe in ghosts but I gave the book a try. I do not plan on reading any more in the series as it is not my cup of tea.

Funny and a little sad. Great story, well thought and written. An interesting take on the detective genre and ghostly writings. Funny and sad times. Thoroughly enjoyable.

The ghost detective. I really enjoyed this book. Myron see’s ghosts, and they know it. So guess who they come to for help. His ability to see them came about by being shot, a good thing, depending upon your point of view, as he sees and communicates with his dead wife. She is ‘ haunted’ by her own past and as the case he is working on progresses, her involvement with the murderer becomes clearer.

Ghost Detective. What a great idea for a novel although the thought that no one ever 'goes' is a bit disturbing - but that's the point of fiction. I love the canvases that Billie paints that no one alive can see the images on. A book doesn't often make me cry but the ending......just had to write a review. This book will stay with me for a long time. Fantastic!

Ghost detective. I like the story, but every other chapter I got confused where I was...Author skipped back and forth from now to a past without any indication that this is going to happen.

Ghost Detective. This was a very interesting story. It was a little boring and drawn out in spots when you tried to incorporate sex into the ghost scenes that it didn’t work for me otherwise unpick storyline.
