The Underworld Saga, Books 1-3 by Eva Pohler Book Summary
Dive into a world in which the ancient gods of Greece still rule in modern times.
Thanatos meets seventeen-year-old Therese while she's in a coma hovering between the realm of the dead and the realm of dreams. A lucid dreamer, she takes control of her dream and kisses him, unaware that he is Death.
It was his first kiss. No one, in his long existence, has ever wanted to kiss Death.
After Therese awakens from her coma, Thanatos is desperate to find her. He makes a deal with Hades and goes to the Upperworld as a mortal to pursue her and to see where it might lead.
The deal requires Therese to avenge the death of her parents. With the help of Than’s fierce and exotic sisters, the Furies, she finds herself in an arena face to face with the murderer, and only one will survive.
Formerly The Gatekeeper's Trilogy, this set is a complete trilogy. You can stop here (no cliffhanger) or continue with the next box set. There are four box sets in The Underworld Saga.

Best Trilogy Ever. This trilogy will hook you so quickly from all action, romance, and love from the families in the books. Eva Pohler is an outstanding author and I can't wait to read more from her!
The PERFECT way to initiate yourself into the world of Greek Mythology!. Eva Pohler is an amazing author and this set is the PERFECT way to initiate yourself into the world of Greek Mythology! This is the saga all about Therese and how she met the gods, fell in love with one....then works to become of herself! I LOVE IT!!! Every page will reveal more and more attention to detail that she has incorporated into the story. I loved reading each and every book in the set, and found myself starved more more as I got to the end. I believe I read the entire series by reading one book a day! This is a YA friendly book and I suggest it for ages 12+. Everything is tastefully handled and there is no reason for readers of ALL ages to start today!
The Gatekeeper’s Trilogy. Great fantasy books! Loved Therese’s evolution from mortal to goddess. I did lose count of the trials and test she had to endure and pass to be with her true love, Than. Makes mortal life seem so easy. Kudos to the author, Eva Pohler!!
Terrible writing. Was this written by a thirsty high schooler? The writing was so basic and childish. I could not force myself to finish the series.
Love Greek Mythology??? Then this series is for you!. Book 1: I am a huge fan of Greek Mythology so when I stumbled upon this book I had to check it out to see what it was all about....WWWWEEEELLLL let me tell you that I am so happy that I did! I love how Eva combines modern day with that of the Greek Gods. The Characters, Theresa and Than are so great together and make such a great storyline. Eva does a great job at describing the people, surroundings and events Book 2: Therese has been away from Than for almost a year and life hasn't been easy. Than has however been trying to find a way to make Therese a god without going against the promise he made to the God's. In the grand scheme of things Hades has agreed to help in making her a god if she completes a series of challenges that basically Therese is destined to fail. This book picks up where book 1 left off and I have to say that I am absolutely loving this series!! I feel in love with Therese and Than in the first book and their struggle to be together. This book is a continuation of their strength together and their will to find a way to be together forever! I Book 3: Book 2 left off with Therese finally becoming a god and you would think life would be good for her and Than..nope now she must find her purpose and if she doesn't she will become mortal again. Then to top this off Ares is after her...life as a god just isn't easy LOL I absolutely love this series and as it goes on I am loving them even more. Just like the previous two books I didn't want to stop reading. I need to find out what will happen to Therese and Than as well as what those pesky and not so pesky gods would do. I absolutely love the different personalities of the gods and how well Eva combines them into the modern world.
