Blaze Colby doesn't know what it is about Moreland that draws him. The man is nothing like anyone Blaze has ever been with. For one he's male and he's also a friend. A new friend but one who from the very start has made him wonder. Now that he faces what he wants – Moreland – Blaze will plan how he can convince the man to be his. But when he doesn't get a chance to lay out the steps he would take to win Moreland, Blaze will have to go with what he knows best -his instincts.

Moreland Wilde knows all he can have is friendship with Blaze. His Garlven –human term Gargoyle – side isn't happy with his choice to just be friends. But Moreland wasn't one to go after a straight man and get his heart broken.  For someone with his lifespan that's a long time of regret to live with. No matter what his soul is saying that Blaze is his one and he should claim him, Moreland will be more pragmatic. But when the heart is involved there is nothing that will stand in its way…especially when it comes to claiming a man who from the start has made him want to take him into his Dark Flame.
