One day, I was having some sharp chest pain. I called the doctors office, and the nurse told me to go to the office. The nurse went into the exam room. I gave her my condolences for her husbands death. We then embraced each other for the longest time. We talked about the great spouses that we had. She told me that they spoiled each other and lived a great Christian life.

After a respectable amount of time, Mary Ann pushed my chest to release herself from my grip. I did not let go of her at that time. At that point in time, I felt so warm and content in Mary Anns arms. She could have screamed bloody murder, but she didnt. She rested her hands on my chest. I had been hugged by many people in those past four months, but this hug was different.

While still embracing Mary Ann, I continued to speak to her about the Bible study that was starting up. We finally said that we would pray for each other. I finally released Mary Ann from my arms.

The doctor went in the exam room. Mary Ann told the doctor, while taking my vital signs, that we may have a dog between us next time we saw each other. I left the doctors office with a smile on my face and joy in my heart. I was just so warm and happy all over. This day, the nurse made my heart feel better. That night, I thought about my compassionate encounter. I said to myself that I wished this warm feeling could have lasted a little longer.

God: Hi, I am a friend of Henrys and I am a friend of yours. He cant hear me. I just heard his desires. He wishes that the warm feeling that he received in the doctors office would continue a little longer. Under the same circumstance in your life, would you also desire the same?

GOD: I will give Henry his wish, but I want something in return.

Strange Dream Scene 1: Mary Ann and I are in a restaurant. Throughout the meal, I complain about the light in the room. After the meal, Mary Ann pats her lips with a napkin and places it back on the table. She gets up from the table. Henry, you didnt say one word about how my day was or how I was feeling. Mary Ann walks to the door to exit. She cant move the door. Mary Ann asks me to go over and try to open the stuck door. I try to open the door but cant. I then ask the waitress to go open the door. She opens the door, to my surprise. She then closes the door and proceeds to open the door once more. She comes back into the restaurant. I then try to open the door again, but it wont move. The waitress says that the door has been opening and closing without any difficulty for the past five years, until now.

Scene 2: I am waking up from the dream. The sunlight from a tall window above the foot of the bed is shining in my eyes. What is going on here? Who locked the door on Mary Ann and me?

I am waking up from the strangest dream in my whole life. I am starting to become very frustrated.

In my mind, I am dancing with the nurse Mary Ann, and I have become hostage in my mind. I try to change my thoughts, but we still are dancing. I try to walk away; Mary Ann embraces me back to her comforting arms. We are still dancing. I half hardly want to stop this daydream but cant control this dilemma in my life. I have to work. I must find the stop button for these thoughts. This is not who I want to be right now. This is only happening in my mind.

My brain does not understand what the eyes are seeing or the mind is thinking.
