Like usual, Farrell left work quite late, went to the store to get food, and then went home to make rice. She could only go up the stairs because there was no power today because she lived on the 19th level. Farrell was almost intolerable at the door, calling Cooper: "Our house is without power, you should come home to eat in a moment, or else you will be very tired if you don't climb the stairs!" Cooper was so busy dealing with French clients for the company that hearing Farrell's advice made him feel even more uneasy. He responded impatiently: "I'm not coming home tonight for dinner." Farrell was surprised. Oh, then there's no need to worry about ascending stairs anymore, she thought abruptly as she turned the phone off and carefully tucked it away. Farrell leaned against the door before opening it and going inside the house. As soon as she got there, she ran to the balcony to get garments since she could see through the window that there was a strong wind. Cooper's milky white shirt was drying outside on the balcony; Farrell had chosen this shade for him. When washing garments, Farrell had to use bleach to scrub the collar and wrists multiple times in order to get rid of the mysterious lipstick marks. Cooper told her this was because of the reception of guests so she wouldn't have to think about it too much.
