Library of America —LoA— es una editorial sin ánimo de lucro centrada en la literatura estadounidense clásica. Library of America ha publicado más de 200 volúmenes de un amplio abanico de autores, desde Mark Twain a Philip Roth, de Nathaniel Hawthorne a Saul Bellow, incluyendo una selección de escritos seleccionados de varios Presidentes de Estados Unidos. Historia Fundada en 1979 con fondos provenientes de la National Endowment for the Humanities y la Fundación Ford, impulsada por el crítico Edmund Wilson.[1]​ a imagen de la Bibliothèque de la Pléiade creada en Francia.
