Lyla in the Loop is a children's animated television series created by Dave Peth for PBS Kids. It premiered on February 5, 2024. The series is produced by Mighty Picnic and Pipeline Studios. The series is produced using 2D software. Premise The series follows Lyla, a young African-American girl and her sidekick, a fuzzy blue hyrax-like creature named Stu. Together, the two embark on adventures with her family. According to Lyla, each adventure will introduce and explore foundational computational thinking concepts, leading to some comedic disasters and creative solutions, while helping others in their community.
