Robert W. McGee is an American academic who is a full professor at Fayetteville State University. He is a perpetual student, having earned 23 academic degrees—13 of them at the doctorate level. Additionally, he practices martial arts. Early life and education McGee is originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. He was raised Catholic. McGee has earned 23 academic degrees, 13 of which are at the doctorate level. He started his education by graduating with a bachelor's degree in Social Science from Gannon University in 1969.Wanting to land a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records, McGee began collecting college degrees. His first doctorate-level degree would be a Juris Doctor from the Cleveland State University College of Law. He has won multiple world championships in taekwondo, karate, kung fu and tai chi, as well as more than 80 gold medals in national (USA) championships. He is an inductee at the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame. As of February, 2024, McGee's career gold medal count is 1020.
