One of the best books I’ve read!. This book is now my all time favorite read! You won’t regret it! I read this book after reading Girl Wash Your Face and that book was really good! However, I haven’t been able to find a good read that matches Present Over Perfect yet. As a new mom that experiences mom guilt a lot, this book helped me realize I don’t and can’t physically nor mentally do it all perfectly. My son, husband, and friends don’t want me to be perfect, they just want me to be present and engaged. Highly recommend reading this book!

Treasured. Fantastic, transparent and transformative

Life-Changing!. This book has been life-changing for me! I have found myself in a world of chaos, fragmentation, and exhaustion. I have been miserable and discouraged. Just because I am capable of doing something does not mean that I should be doing it. The stories in this book have ignited a desire for simplicity and connection. The desire has always been there, but I believed lies along the way. Through this book I am encouraged to pursue my inner God-given passions and to make time for those I love dearly in my life. I long for the peace and joy that Shauna describes in this book. I am hopeful that I will experience this and I already am. Thank you Shauna Niequist!

Great book. Starts off really strong, winds up being repetitive and fluffy at the end. But overall I loved the book and would highly recommend it.

Deceiving and misleading. The book started off so great- I read the 40 page sample, I could relate to her story, and there was no talk of god or religion. I purchased the book and now the author switched the subject completely to religion- I did not see this coming and I feel deceived, like this was done intentionally- I would never have purchased it if I’d known. How to get my $ back??

Present over Perfect. I highly recommend you take the time to read this book and reflect on how you spend your valuable resource of time. The author bears her soul in such a way that gives you insight into your own and where you can possibly rethink how perfect you really need to be and where the value lies in these lives of ours.
