Tells whole story. It is just like tv show. Poor girls. I always wondered what was the full story.

Volumes. This speaks volumes! I think women should be empowered and be taught how to fight back. We are the ones who have to repopulate this earth... and I wish every woman/girl/mother/grandmother out there flung through a tough time, good health and safe travels!

Written from wrong point of view. This book is for viewers of the TV show to see what was in the diary that Norman found and it’s supposed to be Jiao’s diary. The problem is that the diary is not written like a personal diary but from an omniscient point of view, much like that found in graphic novels. The translations were clumsy and the story disjointed. I did really enjoy the artwork and found the theme very intriguing.

I was left wanting more!. I feel while this was an entertaining back story it leaves me with so many more questions.

Did I really pay for this????. Big fan of the TV series & read others reviews but I'm thinking I truly missed something. Illustrations with a minimum of translations and that's it. No insight at all, what did I miss? Total waste of time to download and the 2 seconds to read then delete.

Good. There are some grammatical and spelling mistakes in Chinese. But it helps fallow the drama.

This comic. Even if it is Chinese I thought is was amazing

Wrong Point of View. This journal has an omniscient point of view. It could only be limited first person. The woman is a slave. Also it is annoying having to tap on all the text in order to read it. Page turning is also clumsy. Poor execution all the way around.

Sad. Can wait for season 2

Too clean. The drawings are too "comic book" for my taste. Wanted it to be more of a believable sketchbook with writing, etc.

Meh. I appreciate that they made this, it's a nice addition to the show, getting to see more of the book, but as the show goes on there are pages it know should be here that aren't and the story it gives is too easy and very obvious.

Ok Story. The fact that there was a back-story is nice. but i hoped it would be a little longer. Maybe up until the police man had her in the basement!

Bates. If you follow The Bates Motel then you should really enjoy this.

The book. This book is really good because this does really happen sometime and there's a lot of rape in the world and look how hard this women tried to get away and I know this is not real.

Norman Bates.. Very entertaining and dark but it leaves you wondering what happens next unless you've seen the show of course.

Not what I expected. Ok 3 stars is unfair. The illustrator is a fabulous artist and the drawings are really good if not disturbing at times. I get the gist of the story from the pictures but the writing is not in English. So it’s impossible to rate this. When I picked this up I was expecting a thriller mystery. Looks like it might be. And good too for a graphic novel. But I cannot tell.

Desiring Hope. Reading this just made a friend of mine wish there was an alternate universe where the girl was saved.

Wonderful but missing character and insight. I absolutely loved this book but it missed character and more insight on the characters life and more on what happened.

journal. This journal thing is so cool !! I love it it pretty short but I'm obsessed with the show so it makes perfect for a obsessed bates motel fan like me ! it's so cool how the pictures were drawn and to tap the writing so you could read. What she was saying !

Insightful. Such a sad story. But it added a great way to follow along with what Norman and Emma are seeing and to know what they too know. Great idea and with great art. Only problem was it was a tad glitchy. It'd turn the page and it would go blank. All you gotta do is go back a page and go forward again once or twice. But other than that, thumbs up!!

Not bad... But. I thought it would have been like the tv show but its just the intro and nothing more... And just helps to understand who were the sex slaves and what the have become. Im kind of dissapointed.. My expectations were way too high on this book. I did like the originality of the pages though

Bates Motel. This book was the same book from the show. I wonder if this is real beacause Norman Bates is a real cireal killer. If somebody had knew about this after he hade died. it was verry good kinda hard to understand at times but good took me less then five minutes to read so it was allright.

Jaios diary. If you are a bates motel fan than this will bring back memories from the episode where Norma kills the cowboy rapist. It's helpful
