Matthew: “The day Amanda came to my home with her mother, there was something about her which affected me. My desire for her was deep, carnal, and I couldn’t admit then what I felt for her. Her innocent smile summoned me, and I felt a need to make her mine, forever.”
Amanda: “My mother had been a maid in Matthew Cross’s mansion when she died. Living in his house, being near him, my feelings grew stronger as I grew older, until I could no longer control the coursing heat of desire running rampant through me.
“Now I’m eighteen and my mother is dead, his wife is divorcing him, and we have each other in this large house.”

Amanda: “I thought we could live happily ever after. Matthew Cross is my prince charming. He slayed all the dragons but one, his ex-wife. She’s back and she wants him and I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’m just a head strong insecure nineteen year old, but I know one thing, when a woman wants a man, she will do anything to get him.”
Matthew: “Amanda has nothing to worry about. My love for her is all consuming. My hungry desire for Amanda spirals through me flooding me with uncontrollable want and need.
“I’m finished with Alecia. Without me knowing, she shows up in San Francisco reminding me of the scandalous sexual life I had with her. That life is too addictive to resist.”

Matthew: “I made a mistake. I allowed my ex-wife to convince me that I had to go back to the kind of life I left behind, which proved unfulfilling and empty. When Amanda walks out, my jealousy gets the best of me, and I lose control because I can’t stand to face the reality that she may have another man and he’s her age.”

Amanda: “Matthew doesn’t know that I’m pregnant, but when I finally make up my mind to tell him, he gives me another surprise I’m not expecting. I plan on telling Matthew that he’s going to be a father, but I’ll do that in my own time because he’s still acting like Alecia’s puppet.”

Amanda: “Matthew is attentive and loving, but he’s rarely around anymore. He hires all these people to see to me because he can’t be with me. He comes home, satisfies me, and then he’s back to work. But where does he go to get his satisfaction?”

Matthew: “I never thought Amanda would question my love and devotion to her. Once she became pregnant, and I knew I would have a family, I put all my energy and money into purchasing the company I’m working for. As the owner, my time will be my own, but it’s difficult adjusting to Amanda’s mood swings. I’m stressed and I need to relax.”

Amanda: “I don’t think I can trust Matt anymore. Everyone seems to have his attention except me. Why does he continue to see Alecia when I need him home? I’ve made up my mind. I’ve had enough of Matthew and Alecia. Whatever secrets they have together they can keep. It will be hard separating from him because I’m in love with him. If he loved me the way I love him, he would be home tonight.”

Matthew: “Amanda doesn’t trust me, and I suspect that Alecia has had a hand in how Amanda is perceiving me at this time in her pregnancy. I don’t blame Amanda for her behavior because I’m keeping secrets from her.”
