Loved it!!. Every time I read another book from the Hot Jocks series, I fall more and more in love with the couples. Although, I think Grant is now my absolute favorite of the bunch. Ana was the girlfriend of one of the other players and after being abused one last time, she calls Grant to help her out. She moves in with Grant until she can be stabilized... until one hot night when they both let their feelings known. ... and then everything changes. This book... sigh...I ❤ this book and Grant so much. He's such a wonderful character. Ana wants to be strong and independent... which is unneeded cause Grant just wants to take care of her. Even though I won't spoil the book, I had to cry a bit towards the end cause Grant was just so wonderful and welcoming. I loved the epilogue... I always love epilogues cause I love knowing what happens next. Sigh...😍😍😍 I 💯% recommend this book and series. I received an ARC for my honest review.

Wild For Grant!. Wild for Grant! Bring on the swoon! “Wild For You” was absolutely amazing and I had a hard time putting it down. This is hockey romance at its best. As Grant and Ana finally get their story. Grant is the Team Captain, who has been in the background through most of this series. He is such a surprise. I fell completely for this brooding, stubborn, responsible, caring, and vulnerable, charmer of a man. He will absolutely steal your heart. When Grant come to Ana’s aid in her time of need with nothing but concern for her well being. The sincere affection, and the heat between these two sizzles, and I loved how caring and patient Grant was with Ana, even though her situation was a delicate one. His support and protection makes him without a doubt one of the swooniest, most adorable book boyfriends I have ever come across. But what can he do when Ana doesn’t want a relationship? You will need to read this to get all the juicy details. Characters that will touch your heart and a romance that will leave you breathless. Received an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

Oh Grant <3. I wanted Grant's story since we first met him! I just knew that he would have SUCH a story! He's so big, growly and just so strong and silent. And that intrigued me from the beginning! Grant and Ana's story is so perfect and might be my favorite of the Hot Jocks series so far! Grant is totally swoon-worthy and just totally perfect. For being such a big, sullen guy, he was so sweet, and gallant and caring with Ana. He's totally a teddy bear packed in the hockey captain package and I'm here for all of it! Ana is trapped in a violent relationship and Grant swoops in and saves her from the situation once Ana calls him. And Ana becomes his roommate to both of their surprises. Yep, I think Grant might be my favorite of the Hot Jocks!

No, thank you. As much as I love a good hockey romance I have to say this one completely disappoints. The male character, Grant, is very strong & endearing. I love his big heart & loyalty. I’d love to see him partnered with a stronger character. Ana is very weak & a poor example for strong women. I’m not referring to the domestic violence issues. It’s her personality that is unlikable. Grant really got a raw deal with this love interest.

Love Grant & Ava!. This story truly surprised me. Grant is the captain of the hockey team and he takes that job seriously, looking out for the other players. He truly has a heart of gold but he remains a mystery. Rescuing Ana from an intense situation with one of the other players just seems natural even if Grant is the strong silent type. Ana never expected to find herself in a volatile relationship but having Grant to lean on helps her find her strength to move forward. These two find themselves unlikely roommates which provides a fabulous foundation for the build-up to a fabulous relationship. Learning about Grant is incredible, his childhood wasn’t perfect so he doesn’t know how to be open to love but yet he wants it. Ana is a beautiful light which just might find a way through all of Grant’s walls. I love the journey that this couple took me on.

Another winner. Another fabulous book in the Hot Jocks series. I seriously fall for a new book boyfriend with every book in this series. It is too hard to choose a favorite. And Grant did not disappoint. Grant was the quiet loner of the team yet he watched out for everyone. And when he saw a teammate of his treating his girlfriend poorly Grant intervened and offered Ana a ride home. Not thinking he would hear from her again Grant was surprised to get a call to help out Ana. Ana has no where to go and Grant offered up his spare room for her to stay while she figured out what to do. Grant had found himself attracted to Ana since he first met her but kept the attraction to himself since she was in a relationship. Ana never looked twice at another guy since she was with her boyfriend but she could admit to herself that Grant was a really, really good looking guy. I really liked that Ana didn’t want to jump into a relationship with Grant right away because she wanted to prove to herself that she could be independent. She told him they could be friends because that is all she could do right now. Grant never really hid his feeling for Ana and he found it hard to realize that they may not have a future or at least the future that he wanted. Grant was a fabulous “non” boyfriend to Ana and it was exactly what she needed. She needed to realize that she could be independent and yet still also have what her heart wanted- Grant. Ana and Grant were a wonderful couple and I am so happy that the guy who was a loner got the girl that made him happy. Of course we got to see the rest of the team- Justin, Teddy, Owen and Jordie. Plus some of the wives- Becca, Elise, Sara and Bailey. I am super excited for Jordie’s book next and can’t wait for his happy ending. This is a fabulous series and I have loved every single book, so hard to pick a favorite!

Fantastic. Grant is one of the most formidable players on the hockey team, but once he opens up he is nothing but a softy for Ana. This book was wonderful in dealing with so many different characters and issues that relevant in present time. I was very pleased in the way Ms. Ryan portrayed these characters not only in their strength but also the care in continued growth throughout this series of books. I was a little shocked about Jason, but understood the reasoning the author had for this character. The epilogue was great and so looking forward to wrapping up this series and visit these characters one last time. Grant!. In the other books, grant seems like a grumpy to himself person.. but in this book, I absolutely loved him showing who he is! More men like him are needed in the world!

Finished in a day. Loved getting to know the characters in this book. I loved getting information about other couples from past stories.

Loved Grant and Ana. Easy 5 Stars. When Ana is in a bad situation, Grant comes to her rescue. He's tall, strong, gruff and a loner. Ana is soft, sweet and fragile. Together they are perfect for each other. I loved these two. Both had needs that the other filled perfectly. He needed to take care of someone and she needed to be taken care of. With a bit of hockey thrown into the romance and some serious issues to deal with this was a fast and easy read that I had to finish in one pass (even though I should have stopped and slept, I couldn't find a stopping point). Neither was looking for love but both needed, wanted and deserved it. Fabulous story. It does work as a standalone but if you've read the previous books in the series, you'll see some old friends.

Worst of the series. Honestly, I thought everyone else’s reviews were a little harsh...until I read the book. Ana is so needy and takes advantage of Grant. All he wants is a family, but she uses that bit of info for her own. Don’t get me wrong. She was put through some horrible things. But I still couldn’t find it in me to love this book as much as I loved the others.

Grant is so worthy of the Hero title!. I have read the other books in the Hot Jocks series, and Wild For You is a standalone, but with interconnected with characters from the previous books. I have been waiting for Grant Henry’s story! He’s the 32 year-old Captain of the professional Seattle Ice Hawks series, and is a pillar of strength and fortitude. He’s been there, done that with all that came with his popularity, and is now focused on his career and being a role model to his teammates. I love how he is a bit introverted, always observing with an inner strength and confidence. He’s humble and stoic, a great leader, responsible and brave, and I just loved that about him. I so enjoyed the vignettes when past characters were introduced–Justin Brady and Elise, Owen Parrish and Becca, Teddy King and Sara, Asher Reed and Bailey, Morgen and Isla, Landon and Abree, and upon reflection, when he sees all his buddies happy and in a relationship, Grant realizes he is lonely and would like a family of his own one day, and opens up his home to Ana Walsh, our heroine, after learning she was in a toxic relationship with one of his teammates, Jason Kress. Grant may be a bit passive when not on the ice, but man oh man, all my girlie parts tingled when he went into protective mode! He drove her home after a party one night, and selflessly and instinctively told her to call him should she need help. He wasn’t overbearing, but firm, and Ana never felt so safe. I give her props for being strong enough to leave Jason and knowing she deserved a better life. It wasn’t easy, but Grant made it very easy for her offering her protection plus a safe haven so she’d never have to return. This slow-burn is where Kendall writes her magic. These two virtual strangers were now living with each other, and it was really beautiful to read them lifting each other up, emotionally supporting one another, and becoming friends. He not only financially supported her, he stood by her like a true hero, and let her know her worth time and time again. He had been smitten with her before, but now that he and Ana were living in such close proximity, their insane chemistry heated up the pages, and their relationship became intimate. I loved how respectful and patient Grant was putting her needs first, and it was a true testament to his character and maturity. Ana did work hard to improve her situation and become more independent, but she didn’t have the same trust in their relationship, and her actions in one of the chapters toward the end really surprised me. But as in any good book, there is always conflict, forgiveness, character growth, and a deep physical and emotional connection, and this book has it all. Kendall never disappoints as these two do get their well-deserved HEA!

Sports romance must read!. Sports romance is my weakness and this newest release gave me what I love and more. I been along for the ride in this series and Grant and Ana’s journey takes the top of my favorite by far. It was entertaining, heart felt, and crazy hot chemistry that will have you wanting more. The storyline was easy to read and had great flow as the characters navigate first as friends than more as they find themselves giving in to the emotions that they find themselves in. I would definitely recommend this read and can’t wait to see who finds their HEA next.

Grant Deserved More. I’ve read all of the books and have been anticipating Grant’s story. Maybe because he’s so quiet and reserved, we haven’t had a good take on his life. And when Ana comes up I can’t help but feel he deserves more? I was hoping him to have a drama free relationship that turned into a great romance. This book was a lot of Ana going back a forth with wanting him and convincing herself she needed to do everything alone. Of course at the very end she decides differently. I was pretty annoyed through out the book with her character. Ana did not deserve him and lacked actual strength. All she did was use him until she felt like proving a point. Actually very disappointed in this book.

Loved this hero. I’m really, really torn about the rating for this one. The first half is quite possibly some of the best work I’ve read by Kendall Ryan, with a hero I LOVED from the first page to the last. Grant is the definition of a strong, silent hero – his unwavering care for Ana was heartwarming at times and heartbreaking at others. And I absolutely loved that he was not a playboy – he’s a steadfast, dependable man with a huge heart just waiting for the right woman. I just wish that I found Ana to be a better partner for him. In the back half, she makes some decisions that I just couldn’t get behind… and everything I have to say about that would be one huge spoiler so you’ll just have to see for yourself. The story follows Grant, the reserved captain of the hockey team we’ve come to know and love (yes, this reads as a standalone but the interconnected characters give the series a sense of completion). He’s a natural born caretaker who helps those in need and doesn’t leave much for himself. When a teammate’s girlfriend finds herself in need, Grant doesn’t hesitate to step in and help. He doesn’t realize quite what he’s in store for, and soon finds himself with a beautiful, slightly broken new roommate. It should be a burden but turns into a blessing as Grant and Ana connect and heal. But Ana just got out of a relationship and is in no place to start up something real. Ryan handles some difficult subjects in this one with care – domestic violence is one of the key storylines – and I think she did a great job. It’s a central part of the storyline but doesn’t overtake the budding romance. No, something else does that in the second half. I won’t go into it, but the balance of push/pull was definitely off in the second half. The first 50% is near flawless, with a compelling relationship and tension that builds until it snaps. I loved, LOVED it. After the 50% mark, well, the tension was back but not in a good way. I do think it wrapped up nicely but I didn’t have the same love for it as I did at the beginning. Grant continued to give and give, and at some point I wanted him to TAKE. I still think it’s a great book; it’s just not the easy 5-star rating I thought it would be halfway in.

I failed to feel their connection!. This is book 6 in the Hot Jocks series and it features Grant and Ana. Grant is captain of his pro hockey team. It’s his job to keep his teammates in line. One of his players gets WAY out of line and Grant offers the girlfriend of this player his assistance. Their story takes off from there. There is so much drama! Grant is not a drama kind a guy. A pregnancy happens without knowing who the father is, Grant or her ex. The crazy thing is that we NEVER find out! Ana is kind of a “have your cake and eat it too” kind of girl. She wanted the sex but not the relationship. Grant was ready for the relationship. I loved Grant but Ana, not so much. She just seemed wrong for him. I failed to feel their connection. I love this author’s stories but this one didn’t work for me.

Holy Hotness!!!. When Ana is pushed to the end of her rope by her abusive boyfriend she calls the only guy she can think of. Grant is the captain of the Ice Hawks hockey team. When Ana calls him to get her he can’t refuse. A great romance. Ana is so vulnerable yet strong at the same time. Grant is a teddy bear hiding behind a taciturn exterior. I loved how he was 100% all in. A great steamy read with heart!

Grant is a Keepet. 3.5 stars Grant is the stoic, loner on the team.Underneath his gruff exterior you will find a heart of gold. A natural leader who takes care or people. When he first sees Ana she is living with his teammate Jason, an abusive jerk who is on a downward spiral. When Grant comes to Ana’s rescue after a particularly bad scene, he learns a little about himself. He wants what everyone around him has; love and family. Ana is not keen to jump into another relationship so soon after Jason. She tries to push Grant away. Things get complicated when Ana has a surprise pregnancy. There is a question of paternity. So excited to see where this book goes!. So excited to see where this book goes! After getting a little backstory on Ana in the previous book and the abuse she’s getting from one of the players, I was so happy that someone finally got involved – especially Grant! Seeming to have the best and most level head on his shoulders out of the group, when he realizes what’s going on with Ana and one of his teammates, he steps in as best he can, and when Ana calls he goes running. Saving her, she has the hardest time accepting help, especially from a virtual stranger, but the combination works for them. While rebuilding her life, Ana gets quite the shock that involves both Grant and her ex, but I was so insanely happy with how Grant handles things, especially given his past. Nothing crazy happens in this storyline, although the ending definitely threw me a little, and I loved the journey of recovery Ana got and the support from Grant. Can’t wait for the next installment in this series – especially after the sneak peek we got in the end of this book! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Nope. There is nothing wild about the love story or the plot. Title doesn’t fit the book. The writing is very basic and lacks depth and fluency. Major plot events just happen...there is no build up to them. Overall, really disappointed with this book. Unfortunately it was my first by this author and I doubt that I would try another one.

Escellent. This book is fabulous, it features Ana and Grant. Ana is in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend who is a teammate of Grant, he just happens to find her bloodied and bruised on evening. The subject of domestic violence is sympathetically covered, Grant is a complete gentleman and the way the wags rallied round was handled well. An excellent book. I love The Seattle Ice Hawks - wonderful. Aah, what a lovely, light, entertaining read. Book 6 in the Hot Jocks connected stand-alone series, Wild For You follows grumpy team captain Grant who it appears may be grumpy for a reason. Maybe he’s lonely, maybe the fact that all his teammates seem to be finding their forever love is actually getting to him. One teammate definitely not with his forever love is Jason, and when disaster strikes Grant is all too happy to swoop in and become the knight in shining armour. Even though Grant may not think of himself as a savour, I sure do. He’s just such a gentleman, completely chivalrous and so so thoughtful, and maybe I’m just jealous, but I’m sure that Ana doesn’t appreciate him half the time. Wonderful writing, an addictive storyline and wonderful characters that all make up the Seattle Ice Hawks family. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.

Roommates to lovers romance story that will have you both rushing to finish and never wanting the story to end. The chemistry practically burns off the pages and the writing is gorgeous and if you needed another reason to grab this book and series? Kendall Ryan never writes a bad book and this book confirms my statement. Wild for you is a sexy romp with a hero you'll melt for and a relatable, sassy heroine you'll love. All the feels. This is one of those series that gets better with each book and for me Wild for You is the best so far, like all the others I was captivated and drawn in but I have to say Grant really stole a piece of my heart. Grant and Ana’s story is an emotional one and it will certainly pull on your heartstrings as he becomes her hero even when they both know maybe the timing isn’t quite right..... I loved Grant for being the knight in shining armour and I loved Ana for being strong enough to walk away from a man she once loved who was now someone very different. Ms Ryan does an amazing job with a subject many authors would shy away from, she describes the domestic violence issue with compassion and dignity, her character Ana is someone who many will look up to with her strength and determination. What else is there for me to say apart from I highly recommend this story and it’s a great addition to the Hot Jocks Series

One of the best books you could read!. This book put me through the emotional ringer!! It was definitely a very heart wrenching but also incredibly heart warming story that had my heart go in so many directions! I’m convinced Grant is a big giant teddy bear hockey player! This book has solidified that thought! I loved the fact he helped Ana! I thought she was incredibly strong despite what she goes through and I definitely admired her for her strength to forge on in her life! What I really loved about this book was the friendships and support from various characters and how its important to all of us who is beside you in hard times! This book was absolutely incredibly beautiful and one of the best books I have read this year! I couldn’t put it down and read it in one sitting! The world ceased to exist around me whilst reading!! A book so worth letting the world be but a memory for just a little while! You won’t regret it!
