Awesome book. I used to not like reading books but when I found the series I could not put the book down

I LOVED IT!!. I LOVED it!!! It is funny, dramatic, intense, romantic, everything!!! I could not take my eyes off the book!! It is everything you want in a fiction book!!! #lovedit😍😍

Must Read. Brenda Hiatt beautifully continues the story of M and Rigel in this novella following her well loved Starstruck series. I finished in less than a day which goes to show I could not set it down. I would highly suggest this book as well, as the rest of this series, to anyone who enjoys romance and young adult books with a sci-fi twist that will keep you obsessing over every character. Hiatt mentions in an author’s note following the novella mentioning Fractured Jewel as a segway to a spin-off novel, which I’m sure will be just as addicting as this series has been for me. This series is my all-time favorite and I will continue to re-read until she comes out with more!!

Good storyline but...... I must admit that the storyline is great. The book had a nice rhythm and flow to it, but some scenarios were really dumb. In particular, when M needs help and doesn't call out to Ryjel for help right away, and when she finally does, it is not to tell him she is in trouble and needs help. Oh no, that would be the smart thing to do. Instead, she tells him how she was totally fine, but he should play really well in the game?? Seriously?? When you're reading, and the flow is going nicely, and then you get jarred out of the fantasy the story has woven in your mind, because of a part of the story that makes absolutely no sense is quite sad.

Amazing read. She has a special talent, that really makes you feel as if you are part of the story. Great read, and series!! Wonderful and exciting end looking forward to the future of this!!

I need more. I was so excited to see the next book in the series but I was heartbroken that it's so short. I love this series and cannot wait for you to write more. Great read and I would suggest it to anyone!

Interesting Read. I received a free copy of Fractured Jewel from the author via her newsletter. I haven't read any of the other novels in the Starstruck series, which did leave me at a slight disadvantage but despite not understanding some of the terminology (graell bond for instance) I found it an interesting read and intriguing enough that I really must get around to reading the first book in the series which has been sitting on my kindle for some time! Recommended.
