Glasses are bad???. I loved this book, one of my favorites!! Really great! But just one thing: should I and others feel ashamed of wearing glasses? I have glasses. Many others do as well. Shannon, should I switch to contacts instead? Are glasses bad? I think this book sends the wrong message.

It was awesome. Real Friends is an amazing book with an amazing unforgettable story! It has drama, it has friendship, it has enemies... can it get any better?

Love ittttt. I read this book when I was like seven maybe, but I loved it then and I still love it now as 10. If you like this book you should read the sequel, Best Friends, and then Friends Forever. Great book! Great art, great story...you should read it! 😃😃😃😃

I love how Shannon wrote it and she pointed out that she was a member of the church and I love that it took place in Utah. Thank you for writing this book. PS: I’m a member of the church too so that’s another reason I love this series and you should also read all three of the princess academies by this same author. Absolutely amazing!!. I read this book with I was 8 and I still love it now that at 13, at the time I read this book I was struggling with making real friends who really cared about me. This book definitely made me feel much better. I absolutely recommend this book a 100%!!

Loved it!. I really loved this so much I’m 37… lol I gifted my daughter a copy of it and she finished it in about an hour, she loves to read… she is in 3rd grade and I feel it really spoke to her. Elementary can be so tough and the girls with their groups. My hope is that she is kind to others and includes everyone and learns to also have boundaries with the difficult girls/groups. I will definitely be purchasing the next book!

Wow- just wow. I was looking for a book that would be somewhat relatable. I came across this book, i read the sample and then i was automatically in love with this book. The message is really important and understandable. I’m going to read the sequel, “Best Friends”. This book really changed my life honestly.

This book is great for preteens. This book is realistic. Some people don’t like that it has bulling in it but that happens in real life. I think it’s better for them to see how bullying effects people now then to be bullied and think it’s their fault or not know what it is. It’s a true story so it not going to be all unicorns and rainbows. This is perfect for a kid being bullied because it shows them that they can stand up to the bullies or they can find new friends. I would totally recommend this book to anyone.

Yaasssss. When I first read this book I wasn’t so sure but when I really got into the book I loved it and I can real ate to that story!

Soooooo sweet. This is a sweet book about friends and how being friends with a " popular" kid may be intriguing popularity is kindness. And Shannon learning that real friends are the ones that stick with you and are the real definition of popular. Totally recommend.

So good. This book was really good- sad, yet heart warming. The sequel, Best Friends, is really good too. This book just gives a really good example about stereotypes, finding yourself, and overcoming fears. 5 stars!

LOVE IT!. This book is my favourite and my daughter in 6th grade she has read it over like 20 times I can’t get her away from it! This is still my favourite as an adult!

This is very helpful. I have a lot of friend problems, and this helped a lot because I feel like Shannon in this book. I’m popular but sorta left out and bullied,I also have anxiety and I really hate it when people talk about my body and I feel uncomfortable 😣 so this was very helpful and Thanks!

My Fave Graphic Novel. This book is amazing and it’s my favorite other than the book Wonder. I highly recommend this for kids in grades from 4 to 6. Shannon should make more books like this! 👩🏻‍🦰

Meh. Not really my thing

Love it ❤️. When I read this book I thought it was going to be a story about meeting friend and a fictional story but it wasn’t it was a story about a girl going through ups and downs but got though it that’s why I love this book ❤️
