Spanish for Kids: Family (Read-Along) Early Reader by Language Together® Book Summary

Developed with teachers, Family (part of the Spanish for Kids series) is a first reader for children beginning to learn Spanish. With help from the audio narration by a native Spanish-speaking teacher and the English translation at the end, children will soon be able to understand and finish this early reader book on their own—giving them confidence and a sense of accomplishment. The unique Spot Color Immersion Method® weaves vocabulary into first Spanish reader books, making learning Spanish fun and non-intimidating for complete beginners.

Family includes 10 family vocabulary words, high-frequency words and expressions, and fun phrases and cultural lingo. The Language Together® approach is multi-pronged, using context, simple sentences (one line of text per page), repetition, humor, and visual cues to speed language learning.

The audio narration by a native Spanish-speaking teacher means that children can independently review the story without pronunciation help from adults.
