Highly recommend. A wonderful children's book to help deal with relatives & loved ones who have passed away. We read this to my boyfriends 4 year old, & she immediately wanted to send a balloon up to heaven for her doggy radio! It was so sweet! She understood in a good way! Definitely something families should have for their little ones!!

Heaven sent this amazing book!!!. I have been looking for a book of this nature for quite some time to present to my clients, not only for children, but for adults as well. It is the perfect companion for anyone who is dealing with the grief due to the loss of a loved one. It gives your child hope that when they release a message with a biodegradable balloons, that their message is truly getting to the one that they love. It gives hope and peace to anyone who reads it. This is an excellent tool that I feel belongs in every hospital gift store and it should be in every psychologist and psychiatrist office. Whether it is a relative, parents, Pet or a friend that has passed, this book truly brings brings comfort and closure to the reader. It is my hope that anyone who is dealing with the grief of the passing of a loved one will obtain this publication, Thank you so much to Ms. Gipson for sharing her compassionate heart and precious gift of expressing what I feel are many peoples feelings. Beautifully Written and Illustrated. You can tell this came straight from the heart. This book is written in a way that touches everyone who reads it. Going through the loss of anyone from our lives can feel lonely, confusing, and painful. Shay Gipson does an amazing job of illustrating with her words and pictures how you can go through something so tough and remain hopeful. This is a must read for any family experiencing loss, and anyone else who can relate to that experience. I highly recommend it.

Balloons to heaven. This is a very heartwarming story for children and adults as well. It was very simple and understandable. It is very hard to lose a loved one. This story gives us an avenue to help in our loss by being able to share our feelings with the person we lost by sending messages on how we are doing. Very cathartic and inspiring. I have searched something like this in the past and found the books very drab! If you know anyone struggling with the loss of a family or friend I would suggest this book.

Great book!!. Dealing with loss is a hard thing for any adult to go through...sometimes even harder for children who may not fully understand what is happening. This book is an amazing book to help a child understand and cope with a loss of a loved one. When you read it you can feel the heart, love and hope that was put into this making this wonderful book!
