Loving the hawke. A good book with well crafted characters, both main and supporting. The proofreading is very good, tho not perfect. At one point, it seemed the story about London’s neglected children took center stage; and I wanted more about the romance. Have to say, tho, the romance built steadily to the hea.

One of my favorites. Loved this book and these characters - can’t wait to read the next one.

Loving the Hawke - I loved this book.. Very interesting story, strong, principled, brave but damaged hero meets strong, kind, principled and brave heroine who also has her problems. (Don’t we all?) Together they rescue young girls from the clutches of evil men in Regency London and they also manage to fall in love. I loved it. It had a bit of a cliffhanger ending but acceptable because together they would conquer all.

Quite entertaining. Solid characters and a good plot.

Loving the Hawke. I felt the end came suddenly and the author needed to tidy the ending. I feel that the explicit sexual incidents really were not appropriate to the era.

Engaging. I really loved this book and the social justice content is very dear to my heart. I had not read the author before but I am very impressed both by her style and her attention to detail with regard to her editing.
