Terah Edun Does It Again. Terah Edun has done it again! From almost the very beginning she's created a situation for our three heroes where they have to rise above themselves to be able to come out on the other side. All the while she keeps us readers on our toes. Reading this book was very much like riding a roller coaster, except you didn't know which way the roller coaster was going to go. Sworn to Quell has the perfect balance of action and romance as our heroes discover more about themselves, face down a goddess, and get ready for a war.

Sworn to Quell. Amazing and spellbinding! This book answers a lot of question but leaves us with a whole set of new ones. Lots of twists, turns, and epic surprises await you. So prepare yourself and enjoy!

love it. Terah Edun has created one of my favorite fantasy worlds and several of my favorite characters. I enjoy watching Thanar, Ciardis, and Sebastian's attempt to balance their personal differences and need to work together for the good of the Algardis Empire. Edun packs a ton of action into every single one of her stories and I devour it every time. The action combined with the romance makes for a fast-paced fantasy that you can't put down. P.S. I'm still #TeamSebastian! I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Love love love. "If he came through this whole, Ciardis Weathervane had no doubt that Sebastian Athanos Algardis could withstand anything." This book picks up right from where Sworn to War left off. It is full of turmoil (both inner and between characters) the keeps you guessing. This book allows us to learn a lot more abut our triumvirate along with the ever forocious dragon ambassador. With Sworn to War I was a little dissapointed with the lack of action and a concrete plot line. But not with this book. Normally by the 10th book in a series you find that a lot of the plot is predictable. With Sworn to Quell you are constantly guessing what will happen next and Terah did a great job of throwing in curve balls. This is a great read that you will not regret.

Wondering thoughts of Ciardis Weathervane.... I really love the Courtlight saga but much like Book 9, Sworn to War, the plot of the story gets lost and dragged out through the wondering thoughts of Ciardis Weathervane. Sworn to Quell picks up after the death of the Emperor where Sebastian, Ciardis, and Thanar must confer with Conclave members in order to find a strategic plan for their upcoming battle with the Blutgott God and watch out for spies. I was extremely disappointed that this book was a lot like Sworn to War where a lot of pages were used for inner dialogue vs interaction amongst the characters or involvement with the scene. I had a really hard time staying focused because the narrative would constantly get lost in the internal dialogue of Ciardis and over explain her thoughts, feelings, and assumptions without adding value to the ongoing plot. If this was cut out the book would have been extremely short. I feel as though the saga is getting dragged out and I'm unfortunately losing interest, which is unsettling, because I've invested so much time and love in these characters and world. I received an ARC for my honest opinion and review.

AMAZING SERIES!. I love this series and love the characters! story is very thought out and a lot of things were answered in this book!
