Excellent sample read. The sample was entertaining enough to buy. But once dialogue started the purchase became a waste of money it was so stilted.

The Burning Sands Trilogy. I started this trilogy about a year ago and put it down. I liked the premise a lot. I liked the world building and the mystery of what had transpired during the fifty years that the main characters were in suspended animation. I picked the book up again. I hated the characters. Hated'em. Hated them the first time. Hated them the second time. Then they started to grow on me...a little. Maybe it's purely a failing of mine that I despise corporate types. Underhanded, manipulative, narcissistic office drones with a huge dose of complacent arrogance and self entitlement, who are nevertheless emotionally infantalized and often morally bankrupt. When they are not outright sociopaths. I was frustrated with the very slow evolution of the main characters, but evolve they did. The antagonists rang true and were properly despicable. This is good writing. It flowed and I was able to sink into the story and flow with it. It was worth the effort. Although it did take some effort sometimes. Thanks.
