El poeta futurista, capaz de superar límites e ideas preconcebidas, Gian Luca Cossari, Nòel nombre artístico, se refiere a la tradición clásica. Llamado "Ovidio el siglo XXI", lo confirma el poema de tres partes titulado "Nòel vs. Ovidio", ganador en 2017 de la literatura del Festival de Arte de Spoleto.
Dedicado e inspirado a la riquísima tradición erótica greco-latina, a la poesía epigramática y a la elegía romana, aunque en clave parodística y ligera, el arte amatorio, se califica como manual para la disciplina del amor.
Un nuevo arte de amor contemporáneo; la primera parte describe los medios por los cuales el hombre puede conquistar el amor de la mujer, la segunda como el hombre logra mantener el amor femenino, y la tercera parte es un homenaje digno a las mujeres, el elemento central de arte poético de Cossari. Al igual que Ovidio, Nòel tiene la sensación de la centralidad de la conciencia literaria del poeta, manifestada en su insistencia en la poesía como instrumento de inmortalidad y autocreación. La figura femenina, mientras está en Ovidio a menudo es forzada a su infeliz condición, dejada sola por su amante novio, como en Heroides, en Cossari es un ser superior, que el poeta proporciona una especie manual de comportamiento. Las mujeres al poeta, solo pueden preguntar "versos de emoción", conscientes de que nadie los amará como él.
