In Too Derp. A sad and bittersweet read with a great HEA. Wren was both sweet and a martyr which made her seem weak. The family dynamic was a little hard to understand, maybe due to not having read the first book of the series. Will definitely read more books by this author. It is a good read. EHomar 5/21

In two Deep. This was a little slow in the beginning, not knowing where it was going, I read another book before I came back to this, It got better for me and then it was hard to but it down. Their were so many characters that I really enjoyed, the brothers, the mom that remarried, got so interesting, had to stop, and in my mind put it together so I could continue.The goals set by the family for the future, the way the daughter was introduced to her father in the story. The problems, the emotions, story kept getting better. Finally finished and was in Ahhh. over the ending chapters. Thank You so much.

In too deep. The plot takes a lot of twists and turns. To never have experience being loved and raising your sisters child in a difficult situation and to be so young yourself would be so difficult and could leave a person emotional scarred. To have no other family and then be thrown in to a situation with lots of family and adjusting and finding love and using your talents at the same time.

Loved it. 5 star review of In Too Deep (Blue Spruce Lodge #3) by Dani Collins Dani Collins is a new author to me and I am not sure why that is. As soon as time permits I will be going back and getting the first two books in the series. This is Wren Snow and Trigg Johanssen’s story and what a tangled story it is.Wren has been left as guardian to her 12 year old niece Skylar, who is pushing the boundaries and driving her mad with her bad behaviour. She seeks out Trigg (who turns out to be Sky’s father) in the hopes that he can help. Wren is the new manager at Trigg’s Blue Spruce Lodge and although Trigg is finding it difficult being thrust into a fatherly role (he only just learned of Sky’s existence) he also has to face the fact that despite himself he is attracted to Wren. This book was told in 3 points of view which is a little unusual and took me a while to get my head around but once I did I was captivated and honestly I feel this was right for this story. I really liked Wren and felt the pain and suffering that she had been through. Trigg in the beginning was an arrogant jerk whom I wanted to smack across the head. Sky was your typical pre teen complete with attitude and yet I really felt for the vulnerable young girl beneath the brash and often rude surface. This was an emotional read at times with all parties struggling to come to terms with their new realities. It’s hard to blend a family together and even harder when outside forces are trying to drive them apart. As the relationship between Trigg and Wren develops, will Sky put a damper on it before it can even grow?

Brilliant Read. Dani Collins is a new author to me and it shows just how talented an author she is when you can pick up book 3 in the series and you fall in love with the characters the plot and her style of writing it also tells you this book can be read as a stand-alone but make no mistake I will be reading books one and two as soon as I can. Wren takes a job at a new ski resort so her 12 year old neice Sky can spend time with her father Trigg and also get to know the family she has never meet til now what Wren doesn’t expect is that she would not only fall in love with the job she would also fall in love with the man who once slept with her sister....... I have fallen in love with Blue Spruce Lodge and it’s residents and I really need to go back and read the previous books in this series. The characters have depth and are witty, the easy banter between them all flows and it was fun watching a man who had never met his daughter realise she is just like he was at 12 she isn’t acting out she is carrying on the family traits. This is a romance story with plenty going on a teenager finding her feet, chemistry, passion and plenty of laughter along the way what I didn’t see coming was the fake romance. Great read from a new author to me.
