Amazing!. Loved her on you tube and her taking the courage to open up her past to us to show the real her is great! Excellent and uplifting read! May even read it again!!

Loved it. I haven’t read a book in probably 6-7 years and I read this one in 2 days.

Stayed up late for this one. Loved the comedy in here and all the story telling, couldn’t quit reading. Only thing I felt like it was missing was that she didn’t acknowledge that it was God that helped her through all the hard times and brought her to success!

Loved it!. Some parts were funny. Some parts were cringe-worthy. And others were hard to read. But still told the story of Laura’s life and what she overcame to be the successful woman she is today. Helped open my eyes to addiction and what it takes for someone to be sober and stay sober. Love her.

Finished it in 3 days, and I have a 5 month old. Read it.. Funny, sad, all the feels. You won’t look at Laura the same way. She’s so much more than just funny, and she didn’t hold back.

SPEECHLESS!. Laura Clery is hysterical but this book is her true calling! An incredible writer who is open and raw! I’d give this book 100,000,000,000 stars if I could!

A comeback for the ages. Laura walks you through her personal mountains she climbs with humor and careful charisma. If you are looking to be inspired or out for just a laugh this book is great!

Laura Clery; THANK YOU!!!. absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be anymore amazed when I read this story about Laura’s life. I NEVER in a million years thought someone who was similar to me could get so far in life. I thought I was only the rich kids in school who had the money worthy parents. But Laura, she still was able to achieve her goals. After fighting addiction, and the toxic relationships that could have killed her. But those toxic relationships was also the reason she’s alive! Damon wouldn’t let her shoot up heroin, he SAVED HER. If he just let her shoot it up, she could’ve gotten addicted that easy and they could’ve both been sitting there lifeless. He did let her try smoking it, to at least get a slight taste of how it was, thank god she didn’t like it! It’s amazing how in her MID-TWENTIES she could finally change her life around and have MOSTLY EVERYTHING she ever dreamed of having by her EARLY-THIRTIES. It’s AMAZING! This book is my savior to know that THINGS WILL GET BETTER! Fight for your dreams you will get them!!! She might not be EXACTLY what she wanted to be, she’s not EXACTLY an actress, but her main goal was to make people LAUGH and SMILE, when all they wanted was death. Last night, I wanted to die, but I READ HER STORY and now I have a 100% percent different outcome on life now! I know that I CAN DO IT! It’s just a matter of time. If Laura was in her TWENTIES, and was able to achieve her goal by THIRTY. Then me being 17, almost 18, I CAN and I WILL achieve my goals. Maybe not EXACTLY what I want, but I WILL come close to what I want. And all I want, it make a good impact on the world since I never did as a child. Thank you so much Laura. I honestly hope you keep writing books, write about your current life! IT DEFINITELY INFLUENCED ME! THANK YOU LAURA CLERY!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Amazing Read!. I discovered Laura Clery on Facebook and when I discovered she was writing a memoir, I knew I just HAD to read it! I finished this book and it’s emotional, but hilarious at the same time. It’s truly awe-inspiring that she turned her life around and is the woman she is today. If you haven’t read this book already, you totally should!

Unexpectedly Amazing. I bought this book because Laura posted a small skit about it on Facebook and I wanted to know how the story ended! I am so glad that I did. The story of her life is inspiring and surprisingly relatable. I could not put it down once I started reading. An amazing read from a wonderful storyteller. Laura truly paints you into her life with her words.

A week. I’m not a book reader, in-fact I never finish any book unless mandated! I set myself a goal to read a book this year, it only took me a week- I couldn’t put it down. I’ve been in love with Laura’s comedy since her square faced Helen character. I had no idea what a genuine person she was till this book. For anyone suffering with addiction, this book is for you. There is hope and you are loved. Thank you Laura Clery for sharing your story and making me laugh.

A must read!. I literally purchased this book today and I finished it already, I couldn’t put it down. The similarities it had to my life, my road to sobriety and being with my husband on the road to his was just so.. wow. I could relate to so much of it. It’s a must read!

Deep, raw, and real. Laura this book is an amazing courageous view into your life. You created something incredible despite all odds. This story is a true inspiration. I kept turning pages, couldn't stop. I love your sense of humor, and I had to reluctantly purchase this book digitally since I live too far away from a barnes and noble. I'd happily take a selfie of me holding your book in store at the check out 😅 I will definitely recommend this book to my friends. I also truly believe that if you really want something, you will find a way to achieve it. I have never personally struggled with addiction. But I have close family and friends that have caved into a life of addiction with no end in sight it seems. Words do not describe the greatness.. I am not one who likes reading books, i prefer watching videos on Facebook 😊 Laura is someone who cracks me up by her hilarious jokes, personalities and and comments on her videos everyday. Since she’s so funny online, i said to myself “what the hell, I’m gonna buy her book to read. It has to be amazing just like her online content” and sure was I right I read this book from cover to cover in 5 hours. Best 5 hours I’ve ever spent.

A True Gem!!!. There is nothing perfect in this world but sometimes perfect endings happen through the imperfect. I can relate, we all can...to this voice of human experience through dark moments, pain, shame, self doubt, lighter moments, love, empathy, courage, laughter and a little bit of kindness. Laura can tell a story. A true story! ❤️

LOVE. Considering the fact I think Laura was my teenage twin and I can relate to a lot of her little stories, she’s kept me interested the entire time reading. I highly suggest this book to anybody, especially if you are a recovering addict or even somebody struggling looking for some hope. I really love Laura’s book and videos. She’s a great human❤️

Different, but a good different!. I’ve been so bored with this Coronavirus quarantine that I decided to read a book. This is the first book I’ve read in years where I did not fall asleep after 3 pages! I actually finished the book in 1 day! I really enjoyed the content in this book and am humbled by Laura’s personal growth as well as leading her own life.

You are such an inspiration and proof that you can always make it to the other side if you commit to yourself and your well-being. Loved it. I loved this book. You can clearly hear her voice and comedic style through the whole thing. She doesn’t shy away from owning her own part in the negative crap in her life and is very honest with an inspiring message. I recommend this book for anyone needing a laugh, self reflection or trying to stay on their own path (sobriety, celebrity or otherwise).

So amazing. I started watching Laura years ago, I came across a ridiculous video of Laura’s face photoshopped onto baby wearing a watermelon, “I’m about to do the watermelon dance” it was over for me, that’s when I binged I’m sure every single videos shes ever posted but I never really looked into her past, just followed her and enjoyed her and Stephens videos. I was looking for something to read, and why not read a book by her called “Idiot” it’s gotta be hilarious right?!? Yep! It’s Raw and emotional and funny and real. I didn’t want to put it down!!! I found myself laughing out loud 30 seconds later bawling my eyes out! It’s worth every penny and I CANNOT wait for her next book 😍😍😍

Honest and raw. This just felt so honest. It’s a beautiful life story that doesn’t paint over the crap and there was a lot of it.. Amazing story, told well.

Funny and interesting. Ive only ever seen some clips of Laura on Facebook and liked them so thought I would give this a go ! Laura’s impressions are second to none and she takes you on a (mostly) lovely journey which is her jam packed life ! Xx

Amazing book, first book I’ve read start to end!. Read this book a few times now start to finish and I have never read a book since school. But the way laura speaks about life events that aren’t all about money and glamour is amazing. We all love a good reality tv show but I’d rather learn the nitty and gritty about people other than just how much money they have or what they buy there kids every day with they’re endless amount of money. I watch all Laura’s videos on Facebook and follow her on tik tok she really just is truly amazing and I have so much respect for her she’s a very hardworking dedicated woman, she deserves all the success in the world!

Interesting. This was a good read, didn’t expect a lot of the situations! It was really interesting and kept me reading.

Too hard to put the e-book down 😅. I was just binge watching Laura’s videos when one of the videos about how she met Stephen popped. So I watched it then realised it was a teaser of this book! Definitely one of the best books that I’ve ever read! It was so inspiring to learn what Laura had to go through to get where she is now. Can’t wait to read Laura’s next book! Seriously I hate reading 1 most books bore me too much to continue reading them and 2 I have 4 kids ranging from 11yrs-2yrs old so finding time to read is very hard, but WOW this book was amazing I couldn’t not read it!
