Excellent. The artwork is great, catches the eye right away and lends to the story well. Wang covers tons of topics in such a short time, could easily be expanded into a series but nonetheless, as is she masterfully touches on culture, difference, death, identity, acceptance, friendship.

Adorable and important. This book doesn’t take long to get through as an adult, but it left an impact that I think will stay with me far longer than it took to read it. I will definitely be recommending it to some of my students and I may buy a physical copy to keep in the classroom library.

Big forehead. Christine has a big forehead though, and me and my classmate joke about it, sometimes calling her “Bartholomew Butthead” and how she could be on a Bartholomew Butthead TV show. Not meaning to be racist. It’s still a good book

love it!!!. I have it in real life and I’ve read it before it’s really good. Oh yeah and if you don’t want spoilers then don’t ask me about the book😅😅 other than that it's really good.
