Must Read/Buy! Mrs.Wiggins doesn’t Disappoint!. In Mary Monroe’s (MM) latest great read, Mrs. Wiggins, we read about Maggie and Hubert. Maggie, has had a rough childhood and has her way of dealing with it. She tries to escape from the fact that her parents are both known as the town prostitute and drunk! Maggie is hellbent to be better. So she marries her lifelong best friend, Hubert, it seems like a match made in Heaven...so she thinks! Hubert has a strong Christian family and they’ve decided they’re the “perfect match”. Just like any “perfect marriage” you need a child right? Now here comes Claude. He is the answer to their prayers. They have all that they’ve ever wanted! The perfect marriage, child, and all that they ever dreamed of. But....there is always a “but” they each have secrets that they plan to take to their graves! “Someone” is willing to do whatever it takes to makes sure no one finds out these secrets. As usual MM doesn’t disappoint. While telling this great story of Maggie and Hubert you meet a great cast of characters with attention catching conversation and outrageous wit! I couldn’t put the book down. I cannot wait for the next great MM book to drop. I already have my eyes on her Holiday novella....Once in a Lifetime releasing in September.
