LEIPZIG by Jörn Daberkow Book Summary
Leipzig bietet Natur, wunderschöne Gründerzeit-Gebäude. Industriekultur - und Plagwitz! Mit Besonderheiten an jeder Ecke. Geschichte. Parks. Kanäle. Alte Betriebe. Verfallen, oder wiederbelebt als Wohnraum. Hingucker allenthalben.
In diesem Buch stelle ich Ihnen (auch) Orte vor, die man nur selten in der hier gezeigten Form zu Gesicht bekommt. Was Sie hier nicht finden, sind die üblichen Touristen-Ziele. Die kennen Sie längst.
Meine Bilder zeigen Ihnen die Kraftwerke, die Leipzig mit Energie versorgen. Den Tagebau, in dem die Kohle für das Feuer dieser Kraftwerke gefördert wird. Vom tiefsten Punkt bis hoch hinaus auf einen Förderbagger.
Den Auwald. Den Konzertsaal im Gewandhaus - und die Orgel. Von außen und innen.
Und da ist noch mehr. Ein Straßenbahnen-Werk. Und die Hallen, in denen die Techne Kirow GmbH Eisenbahnkrane und Schlackentransporter fertigt.
Hier soll es vor allem um meine Bilder aus Leipzig gehen. Allerdings werde ich auch immer mal von meinen Fortschritten mit der Fremdsprache Sächsisch berichten. Wobei ich einiges schon kannte - wenn es denn stimmt, dass z. B. „ausbaldowern“, „bedeppert“ und „Schwoofen“ hier erdacht wurden. Das ferne Ziel? Meine eigenständige Integration in den östlichen Teil der Republik.
Dieses Buch ist eine Art fotografisches Blog. Sobald ich für vorhandene Kapitel schönere Bilder einfangen kann, erhält LEIPZIG die jeweils besten Fotos. Manchmal im Tausch. Manchmal als Ergänzung.
