El Premio ICPNA Arte Contemporáneo 2019, asiste a su segunda edición. En esta ocasión se presentaron más de 300 portafolios de artistas, conforme a las bases, residentes en el Perú y el extranjero. Para presentar los resultados de los 46 finalistas, se ha optado por dividirlos en seis ejes: Sin título, Hibridaciones, Metalenguaje, Vida cotidiana, Geografía y ciudad y Biopolítica. De esta manera se observa cómo el Arte Contemporáneo en el Perú, a través de trabajos en video, fotografía, performance, instalación, documentación de procesos, entre otros, goza de un fuerte consenso que respalda sus procesos. Gracias a la reñida competencia y a la calidad de los proyectos y obras finalistas presentadas, el criterio de selección además de considerar dicha característica, optó también por ampliar su mirada hacia un porcentaje interesante de artistas no limeños, extranjeros residentes en el Perú por más de tres años y de peruanos que viven y trabajan fuera de nuestra frontera.
