Two Degrees. The novel presents it self as a heart pounding story with endless pleas of survival. The novel is the opposite. Too bland and boring, almost feeling like a chore to finish. The characters aren’t fully formed and neither is the story. Despite the positive messages, the emotional weight feels out of place in the story. It almost makes me wish climate change would continue, how bad it is

LOVED THIS BOOK. By far Alan Gratz is in my top 5 favorite author list. He always draws the readers in a makes it feel like it happened to you. I don’t know if it is just me but I love it when authors connect characters from other stories and books such as Mr. Gratz does in this book and many other of his novels. I can’t wait to see what he comes out with next!

SO GOOD. 100% recommend. This book is so good!! I literally picked it up and couldn’t put it down for hours!! I love this book because it includes the worlds problems and is entertaining! Alan Gratz is an AMAZING author!!

Essential fiction re: climate changed. A book much needed, overdue, and outstanding. Climate change is pressing to all, and especially deep in the heart of younger generations. Climate fiction for those readers is remarkably scarce. Until now. Two Degrees is three riveting stories in one, cliffhangers galore. It will keep you up late. Those already losing sleep over climate will be grateful that words they need and want are here. Thank you Alan Gratz for making this your project in a difficult era, and for thinking in ways that leap outside the box and surprise me, eloquently. I will gift this book repeatedly. Outstanding fiction works for all ages: adults should read too. Essential because climate peril is not future, but already here.
