Der IFRS-Standardsetzungsprozess ist durch die Teilnahme unterschiedlicher Interessengruppen gekennzeichnet, die auf die Entstehung von Bilanzierungsregeln Einfluss nehmen. Im Rahmen einer qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse werden die Comment Letter von Unternehmen und die Standardentwürfe zu IFRS 15 auf ihre inhaltliche Zielrichtung sowie die verwendete Rhetorik untersucht und die Auswirkungen auf das Standardsetzungsergebnis veranschaulicht.
Die Autorin Annekatrin Jendreck promovierte als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Rechnungslegung und Controlling bei Prof. Dr. Sonja Wüstemann an der Europa-Universität Viadrina und ist als Prüferin am Rechnungshof von Berlin tätig.
