Loved this supernatural romance!. Bella Jacobs has definitely converted me into a lover of supernatural romance. For years I have mostly stayed away from these types of stories, but Ms. Jacobs has completely captured my attention with her characters and fantastically entertaining stories. And Blair and Darcy’s tale is just icing on the cake. The bantering between them was so much fun to read as they both express their dislike for the other while quickly developing a strong and undeniable connection. But Darcy’s past has made him guard his heart keeping it protected. Blair soon realizes that their kindred spirits belong together, but will Darcy ever recognize that what their hearts share is what they both deserve to have for eternity? I really enjoyed this story, and couldn’t put it down. Blair and Darcy are such a great couple and the support characters were fantastic as well. And with a little peak into what’s up next for the Wonderfully sisters, I’m excitedly looking forward to the next book in this series. Bravo Ms. Jacobs. Very well done indeed.

Witchy, vampire goodness. I love a good paranormal book. I love a good, honestly funny rom-com story. But I flat out adore when both those worlds meet, to give me a tale that makes me laugh and keeps me on the edge of my seat. Bella Jacobs gave me that with My Big Fat Bloodsucker. Blaire is this perfect combination of strong and sassy, with a soft center hidden beneath the bluster. She’s not afraid to go head to head with Darcy, the grumpy, very rigid vamp in town. After all, she’s a big, bad witch…even if she’s just discovered that fact! Who else can help her break up her twin and his brother from their ill-conceived engagement. It’s not like they’ll actually fall for each other while pretending to fall for each other…right? Darcy…perfect name right there…has seen a lot in his 200 or so years. But nothing prepares him for the sharp wit and sharper tongue of the oldest Wonderfully sister. While he still possesses a soul, he’s certain any and all feelings he once had died with him when he was turned. He just wants to stop this wedding, save their town and avoid Blaire, for eternity. The humor in this book is laugh out loud funny. The dialogue is fantastic, especially the inner monologues of the leads. I liked the juxtaposition between the comedy and the drama of a town full of paranormal creatures. Vampires and witches and shifts (oh my!) call Nightfall, NH home, but really, they’re just like any small town. Everyone knows everyone else, and their business. There’s some bad guys, er, whatevers. It’s just a bit more magical. I’m loving this series, and we’ve only been given book one. But I predict there’s a lot more coming from the citizens of this town…and it looks to be a blast.

Fun Paranormal Romance. My Big, Fat Bloodsucker Wedding by Bella Jacobs was a fun, mystical, paranormal romance with just the right amount of humor and spice! This was my first paranormal romance from Bella, and it most certainly won't be my last. I enjoyed my trip to Nightfall, New Hampshire, and just adored everything about Blair and Darcy's fated love story. Lili Valente and Shane East narrate this audiobook, and are fabulous bringing Blair and Darcy to life. Blair is a witch, and is just beginning to explore her powers, who also is super supportive of her sisters. Lili portrays Blair's fierce, loyal, and loving personality perfectly proving just how far Blair will go to fight for the one she loves. Darcy is an old hunky vampire, who claims he can't love again. Shane is spot on showcasing Darcy's broody, stubborn, and alluring persona. Talk about dirty Shane vampire talk! Yes please! Overall, I really enjoyed this story and audio. If you love a paranormal romance with a hot, dead vampire, a sassy witch on a mission, crazy possessive exes, crashing a wedding, loyal devoted family members, hot bloodsucking steamy times, and an HEA that will last a lifetime, then you will love Blair and Darcy's story! I'm looking forward to more from Bella Jacobs!

Thumbs Up, Fangs Out, Sparks Flying Fun. Vampires, witches, and all sorts of zaniness...what do these have in common? They all figure prominently in MY BIG FAT BLOODSUCKER WEDDING by author Bella Jacobs. I love paranormal romance, and when there's a big helping of laughter, even better. Bella's done a bang-up job of making me fall in love with Nightfall, New Hampshire and the, er, folks that live there. Finding out that your mom was a witch, and that you and your sisters are also witches is a big deal, but also discovering that vampires are, indeed, a thing, and that you or one of your siblings is the key to saving the town that you've come to call home is kind of a lot. Topping things off is one heck of a surly, maddening, and also sexy vampire that may or may not be a part of the puzzle as well. Blaire, with her self-assured take no nonsense attitude, is the perfect foil for Darcy and his seemingly stuffy and high-handed ways. Every romance lover knows that these things are like kindling for the upcoming blaze, and Bella delivers with both heat and humor. The first in a series, MY BIG FAT BLOODSUCKER WEDDING is just the thing for readers that enjoy plenty of sass, surprises, and steam in their paranormal romances. It's an easy and fun read, and paves the way for more fun and such coming from Bella in MY BIG FAT BLOODSUCKER SECRET, hitting the shelves in the very near future. Thumbs up, fangs out, sparks flying fun to be had here, so dive in and enjoy. ❤️

Sexy broody vampire plus independent self-contained witch equals all the swoons. From the first sentence, this book just hooks you in and takes you along for the ride. The journey to Darcy and Blaire’s HEA includes three dimensional characters, witty dialogue, and an engaging storyline. Blaire Wonderfully just found out she’s a witch from a long line of witches, then moved to the supernatural town of Nightfall to live in a falling down house that she inherited, all while still trying to take care of her five sisters. Darcy Blackmore is a 200 year old vampire and a town elder who is not interested in a relationship. When Blaire’s twin sister, Annie, and Darcy’s brother, Colin, agree to marry to renew the town’s wards, Darcy and Blaire decided to fake a relationship with each other so their ill-suited siblings will call off their wedding. Despite the animosity between them, their very real and sizzling chemistry make the lines between fake and real get very blurry. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - mildly dangerous situations, paranormal creatures, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, mystical coincidences, snark, and laughs. On their way to their HEA, there is a small bit of angst and there is growth for both characters. The book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, laugh out loud moments, and so much love. So expect to laugh, swoon, cry, cringe, and cheer. I am excited to read the next book in this series teased about in the epilogue.

Best book of 2023. I didn’t know a book could be cute, charming, funny, hot, and steamy all at once until this book. Really great read. Made me wish vampires were real. You won’t regret this book.

Delightful. A delightful rom com with a paranormal twist. This was a fun and light read, perfect after finishing something heavy and emotional. It made me swoon and brought several smiles to my face.

Laugh out loud PNR. Reading the blurb you might think you’ve read tropes similar to this where a fake romance turns into the real thing, but when you throw in Bella Jacob’s writing style and the paranormal aspect I guarantee you this will be the first book of its kind! I can’t remember a time I laughed so hard while enjoying a paranormal romance. I think my favorite part is the house kraken, Kitty. If you are in the mood for something a little bit more lighthearted with a paranormal twist and a sexy vampire romance then this book will definitely hit the spot.

Good but…. Good storyline but some of the word choices are more juvenile than I wanted.

Amazing vampire/witch rom-com!. What a fun, fantasy-filled story by Bella Jacobs! When Blair moves to Nightfall to help with the preparations of her sister Annie’s wedding, neither of them are ready for the shenanigans of this supernatural town of witches, vampires, pixies, and such. Blair just wants her sister’s wedding to go off without a hitch, so Nightfall is saved from ruin. Per ancient rules, she has to marry Colin (a vampire) to continue the safekeeping of everyone that inhabits Nightfall. When Blair meets Darcy, Colin’s brother, all she sees is a grumpy vampire that she doesn’t trust. Darcy feels the same about the witch about to become his sister-in-law. To their surprise, Darcy and Blair have something in common—wanting to stop their brother and sister’s nuptials. Darcy and Blair have an attraction to each other, but neither has any plans to act on it. There are a lot of things going on in Nightfall, and I really enjoyed this story. Plenty of heat between Darcy and Blair, and as they get to know one another, they realize their first impressions of the other are kind of way off. There was plenty of funny moments in this story, which I really liked. Shane East and Lili Valente beautifully narrate this story.

Great storytelling. The story really pulls you in and makes it so even sleep deprived you don’t want to stop reading I want the whole series !!!!

Surprisingly good. I expected it to be a little cutesy, hokey, funny maybe a little Charming. What I got was funny, very well, written charming, fast paced and a nicely put together story. Thank you Bella, I have a new author to read.

The Vamp and The Goblin. I am a bit picky when it comes to supernatural romances, but Bella Jacob did not disappoint in My Big Fat Bloodsucker Wedding. It was filled with humor, romance, spice, mystery, and kingship. Blair and her sister have just moved into Nightfall. Blair and her twin sister Annie are the newbies in town, the witches that the town has been waiting for and needing for quite some time. Annie is the quiet, sweet, delicate, librarian type whereas Bella is the rough, tough, "I don't need a man" type. Annie has decided she will be the one to sacrifice herself and marry Colin, one of the elders in town to help keep Nightfall safe and renew the shield that has been protecting the town's identity. Blair is not happy and she has decided she will do everything and anything to stop this union from happening, even if it means she has to pair up with Darcy, Colin's brother. Blair doesn't trust the blood-sucking brothers and prefers to do things on her own, but when she realizes that Blair is also on the same mission to stop his brother from marrying Annie, the duo decides it will be quicker and easier to work together. Although Blair and Darcy can't stand each other, they can't deny the CRAZY CHEMISTRY between them. The more time they spend together the harder it is to resist it. It's funny when enemies turn out to be something a little more. What's even better.... when Darcy and Blair realize that the joke is on them.... This was my first read by author Bella Jacobs and definitely not my last.

PARANORMAL ROMCOM! Who could ask for more?!. This book is SOOO fantastic! It meets all my favorite readery needs!! This book has all the quirky fun of Happy Cat (series by Lili Valente & Pippa Grant), unexpected twists and turns, and all the fantasy "monsters" I truly love!! Witches, Vampires, House Krakens....secrets, schemes, & happily ever afters - this book really has it all! I think this may be my first fantasy rom-com, and I cannot WAIT for more!!! Bella's writing is excellent. Her world-building and character development is amazing. I can picture this town and the places they're going perfectly in my head. I want to be best friends with these characters and live in this town. It almost takes me back to my Buffy the Vampire slayer-loving teen years. But much more mature. ;) Oh, and super hot. Let's not forget those secksy times! If you're looking for MORE than a cookie cutter rom-com, this is 100% the book for you. It's fun, quirky, twisty-turny, and HOT!
