Best book this year!!!. This year, that is, but nonetheless this book had all the feels for a romantic suspense book. West does an excellent job of sharing just enough information with each of the characters that leaves you wanting more. I loved Zero because of everything he’s been through and still manages to forge ahead. Morgan is suspicious of everyone - with good reason. They both deserve a happily ever after. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. However this book is best enjoyed by reading the series in order. Romantic Suspense. *Audiobook Review* 3.5/5📖 4/5🎧 I have enjoyed the entire Scarred Hearts series from SM West. Zero was a style shift from the rest of the books. It started with an adrenaline rush of suspense, but then it slows considerably. As Zero investigates Morgan, the book takes on the feeling of a stakeout as we wait for them to find a break in the case. I liked Morgan’s whip-smart personality. Zero is a protective hacker with a tragic past. I liked chunks of the story, but overall it didn’t pack quite the same fast-paced punch as the others. Lucy Rivers and Aaron Shedlock were terrific in their performances of Morgan and Zero. Lucy was captivating in the first chapter. Her range shone through with the roller coaster of Morgan’s emotional journey. Aaron embodies Zero’s brusque, cryptic, witty hacker character brilliantly. Lucy & Aaron create a riveting listening experience throughout this thrilling, emotionally raw romantic suspense.

Worth the wait, Zero’s story is finally here!. Zero’s character finally comes to life in this newest release that doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been fascinated by Zero every since his character was introduced. His behind scene gruffness is needed in his line of work and now he has a career decision to make. One night is all it takes for Morgan’s life to change and when Zero enters it, it brings a complication that she didn’t expect. As he pursue her, they didn’t expect to need each other and as they discover life once again will they find their HEA? One click to find out in this enjoyable addition to the Scarred Hearts series. I loved all the mystery surrounding both characters that end with a forever that they deserve.

Such a great romance. This story started out full force and didn’t let up!! I was intrigued by Zero when we saw glimpses of him in Griffin’s book. I really enjoyed his story. I loved how his romance with Morgan played out. This book is full of drama, mystery, suspense and romance. It’s very emotional with some twists and some surprises. I enjoyed it lot. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*

4 1/2 Stars for these two broken souls!. After reading Griffin, I couldn't wait for Zero's story. I loved Zero and Morgan! They were broken in different ways, but they could relate to one another. I loved that Zero was so attracted to Morgan and didn't know what to do about it. And Morgan tried to take control of her life ... "tried" being the operative word. I found the banter and situations to be very realistic. Then there's the chemistry between Morgan and Zero ... off the charts! Not only do I recommend this book, I recommend the series! Zero is a computer hacker who uses his skills to help the FBI lock up human traffickers, but he will look into other cases that pique his interest. When he hears Morgan's 911 call, there is something in her voice that draws him in. Morgan was out on a blind date when her date was killed by a thief who was robbing a convenience store. Even though she's back at work, she is having trouble coping with the memories. When Zero approaches Morgan at the bar where she works, she thinks he's a stalker. Zero isn't good with people ... that's why he hides behind a computer. But he has to convince Morgan that he can help her even though he's giving off all the wrong vibes. I received an early copy courtesy of the author in exchange for a honest review.

Complex and Suspenseful!. This is the fifth book in the Scarred Hearts Series, an interconnected standalone series by S.M. West. Zero and Morgan's story is emotional, complex, and captivating. Zero is enigmatic, handsome, and protective. I loved his determination. Morgan is such a wonderful character, and a strong survivor. They are both damaged, and they a perfect together. The supporting characters are intriguing. I liked Elvis. There is a lot going on in this story, and the storyline is suspenseful, filled with mystery, and twists and turns. I highly recommend this series.
