Absolutely Breath-Taking. This book is a must-read for any fan of alternative history. The vividness of Seth Grahame-Smith's writing made me think twice about what really happened and what didn't. It was a pleasant surprise.

Very imaginative. Well written. Imaginative and creative. Author has a fun way of melding history with fantasy and adventure. Kept me reading to the very end. Would recommend to a friend!

Number one. I read all day everyday and this book was unbelievable I couldn't put it down I finished it in one day I truly love this book and I've read it about eight times and I'm hoping the movie will be just as good!!!!

Pages missing. This book reeled me in then proceeded to get me upset when in three chapters 10 plus pages were missing. C'Mon REALlY? I paid for the book it should be complete. how about a refund?

Haven't seen the movie. But am most definitely gonna go see it now. It's awesome that the author can intertwine fiction with our nations history, and be spot on. Don't forget to go read his other book ***UNHOLY NIGHT*** which is another awesome tale of history and fiction

Flat ending. Was loving the book until I got to the last 50 pages or so. All of a sudden the writing seemed very rushed and didn't connect with the overall theme of the story. I don't know…I was very disappointed with the ending. The writer could have done so much more with it. Overall a good read, though.

Awesome!. I think this book was very well written. It was well researched and everything made sense and fell into place very well. I wouldn't listen to the bad reviews. THIS BOOK IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SERIOUS, THAT IS WHY IT IS A WORK OF FICTION. People need to have some imagination...overall if you're very interested in Lincoln and the Civil War like me, it is a very enjoyable read. Worth it!

Remarkable. I love alternate histories, and this is so insightful. The idea of vampires setting up shop in the antebellum south and preying on the slave population is horrifying but brilliant, portraying slave owners as literal blood-suckers.

Loved this book!!. I am a bit of a history buff and Lincoln was a Great President. I also enjoy enjoy some sci-fi stories so this book sounded great. From the first page to the lastI could not put it down. The weaving of his life with the concept of why he has so much sadness in it was a great concept. Shared the book with others who enjoyed it as much as I did.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Interesting story, style is unique. Seems to get bogged down with the historical stuff - I think everyone knows most of the history. Does it really need to be retold? I think the story line could stand on its own.

Yawn!. I'm no history buff so that's probably why I didn't like this book. Only read it because of the movie coming out. I hope the movie is more enjoyable! A few good parts, but overall a sucky book.

This book was REALLY good!!!. Everything about this book felt so feel. I felt like I was read his autobiography and Abe was telling me his story. After reading this book I really felt that vampire walked among us👍👌🌟

History meets....AWESOME. This was like reading the personal diary of our greatest president and throwing in the awesome possibility that he fought vampires. Seamless! Well written, entertaining and educational. Well done!

Where's the ending?. The book was well written and kept me wanting to flip the pages faster, but the ending was left wanting.....the shop keeper should have been brought back in to the story to wrap it up.....felt a little rushed at the end.

Unbelievably Boring. This book started off pretty good. However, as I got further into the book it started to get really really boring and really really slow! Also, the book is not only boring and slow but the chapters are really really long! I usually don't mind reading chapters that are this long as long as the story is very good. However when you combine extremely long chapters with an extremely boring and slow story it just makes for a painful reading experience. I could not even finish the book. I will say this for the book, it is extremely graphic and gory. That part was pretty cool. But if you want to read something interesting try reading the twilight saga or the Hunger Games. Those books are awesome and 1000000000000000000000000000000 x better than this book.

A great YA read. Grahame's weave of reality and myth make for an exciting ride. I think every middle school age child/student should read this novel. Its tapestry of "what ifs" beg young scholars to quest for "truth" and explore the majesty of "everyday" life. By far my favorite feature is its timelessness: one lifetime, one person, or one moment rippling through the ages. The butterfly effect illustrated by tangible characters, events, and conflict. My question is will Mr. Grahame expound on the tale he eludes to when he describes another failed vampire take over between 1939-1945? Would really love to see that idea fleshed out. 🙏😊
