A classic movie, and a great book!. This book fills in some gaps from the movie. No big plot holes or anything; just nice little clarifications. Also includes some deleted scenes, and even in prose form, I can understand why some of them were deleted. All told, a fun companion to a fun film. I love them both.

A Fine Adventure. I read this back when The Goonies hit theaters in 1985. I love how the written adaptation improves the overall narrative of the film! Love to “hear” more of Mikey’s internal dialogue! Every Goonie needs to read this!!

Goonies Rule. Love this book! Watched the movie all the time when I was kid a still watch it today. The book told more story behind each of the characters. Also many more scenes and story missing from the movie. Which as an adult was exciting and fun to learn more about each character and story that I loved as a kid.
