Nine Dragons. Great read! Fast paced and riveting. If you're a Bosch fan you'll really enjoy this book. Can't wait to read the next one.

All the wrong places. Michael Connelly transforms the mundane into the magnificent. Nothing pleasant about a murder in a neighborhood family convenience store… but the frenetic and unexpected cross-Pacific chase of its possible perpetrators had me rapidly turning pages, and thankfully ignoring the evening news. Clever plot twists, an inside look at police work, and well done character development inspired these encomiums. Fun to read! A page turner.

Nine Dragons. Connelly’s books are always entertaining. I felt that the last chapter was hurried, almost as if there was a cap on total pages and therefore summarized instead of narrated. But overall, still a great read.

Very Exciting Read. Great book, had twists and turns on every page you turned. Connelly keeps me coming back for more Bosch and Haller. True life characters that you can relate to. I enjoy these stories very much and I’m gonna continue to read them all.

Awesome!!!. I'm almost 30. Never really been a reader. About 3 months ago my father in law turned me on to Michael Connelly. I only have 3 books left to read of his and have yet to be disappointed. Each book gets more and more intriguing. I will be disappointed however, when I run out of Connelly books.

Nine Dragans. Great plot and the story moves.

Great read. Very nicely written. Suspenseful, thrilling, and very good twists. My most enjoyable MC novel yet.

7 dragons. A fresh Bosch story unlike any other. Adding international intrigue gave it more dimension and more flavor.

Another home run for Michael Connelly. This book has the same terrific characters and writing we’ve gotten from previous Bosch books although there is certainly so,e terrifying stakes involved with Bosch’s daughter and consequences that will haunt him for the rest of his life.

9 Dragons. Convoluted plot and narrative. Unlike other Bosch books, impossible to imagine or believe.

First disappointing Connelly. I've read every Connelly and this is the first disappointment. I'm trying not to give too much away, but the entire plot hinges on a coincidence that stretches disbelief into implausibility. The book feels rushed and poorly thought through.

Worst of the series.... So far.... It is a bit frustrating - the last book (the narrows) was brilliant, and this one was really not good. The language was awkward, just not flowing. I wonder if Connelly has a ghost writer helping him to make deadlines and that guy is just not up to scratch? And then Harry had to live through a lot of personal drama - none of which was in the least bit believable. Still a big Harry Bosch fan, but man! I hope Connelly gets his stuff together in the drop....

9th dragon. Falls a little flat at the end, unlike most Connerly novels.

Great read, as expected. Connelly makes it look easy...intricate plotting and a fast pace. He's been doing it since Black Echo and he just keeps getting better and better.

Excellent!. The most gripping Bosch novel yet!

Great Book. This book was impossible to put down, I was up late every night reading it. One of the best Harry Bosch books yet. Kept you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommend this book.

Very good.. My second Connely book,and there will be many more to come.

Blown Away. The most action packed, yet suspenseful book by Michael Connelly yet. Just when I thought it was over, there was still plenty more to come.

A most satisfying indulgence.. Between Bosch and Haller, I have been unable to consume enough crime to quench my Connelly thirst. Probably the most satisfying indulgence I've had in a very long time, the series has me up all nights again, it's as though I just discovered the pleasure of reading through the wee hours.
